Posters that mention high debt could be the main reason for not investing at the moment till the waters are much clearer.
Losing money like you and most of the rest at the moment is not a GOOD investment policy, do not forget the market is for making money not losing it. A stop loss is a good policy on those cases something you seem yet to learn

I held twice the stock during June/July last Year buying around the 7p, result gain £5 on the 1st one and loss £32 on the 2nd though the selling price was much the same as the buy, why selling? going nowhere.

If I remember well at the time, you were posting buying large amounts day after day, if that was true, then your loses must be huge ( not taking the p!ss, just saying the truth )

A share offer is another way of the Investors being involved in order not to be diluted

Allways a good thing to borrow for personal reason,

I personally use overdraft facilities back in 1986 for investing in shares, only about 10% of my investment, and the reason was I was getting a return on my investment of 65 to 80% for the last couple years. Bank manager arranged a facility of 12% interest charge for the overdraft, main you interest rates where much higher than now, Had to deposit double the amount on share certificates.

But for companies depending on the market for financing on trying to get a better share price then the problem as allways is the market does not likely companies with high DEBT, so if the companies want a good share price must follow the market rules.

WHY?
The banks can not see the company too well on looking at the balance sheet, so the only way is asking for a high rates if you want to borrow.

The company could get better rates, but most likely the Banks will ask for a better balance, before that meaning raising some cash beforehand.

What the Share Price on the future will be is another question, is already at its knees and certainly much lower only would be if a cash-raising exercise is done at this prices

The constant complaint by posters of poor share price is due to the MARKET do not like the high debt.

Most acquisitions are done by raising cash on the market, especially if your debt is already well over the top

As I said yesterday the big problem is to get the debt higher
When opportunities of acquisitions like ....( Acquisition of Engineering Maintenance Facility- Wed, 9th May 2018 ) arose the management should have arranged a Right Issue /placing to pay for it and get even extra to bring the debt lower.

The share price at the time was between 8 and 9.50p, so @ 7p cash raising could have easily been arranged. consequently, the interest would have been now much lower and the profit much higher, though the number of shares would have been higher, the earning per share (EPS) those forecast by the company would now be 3.5p instead of the 2.6/3p, and the share price around the 12 to 15p and rising. not 4.80p like now, as the debt was in control, and that is what the market likes.

note: for those that see part negative post as "weirdo posters" ( Ian ). I have been on the business most likely longer than any of you, work and run with this type of scenarios and seen also many companies went to the wall with high debt.

Some are trying to see positive on the debt problem, but I see on the last account the amount went from UP from A$ 19,098 to 20,547M .

With the good profits at the year-end, the cash flow was still negative most likely due to the acquisition, but if your debt is already considered over the top, the best is trying to bring it down ( as they said on Today's UPDATE )

you are right on the market cap £8M should be converted into A$ 12.06
or debt of A$20.5M to £13.6M

that would bring the DEBT ratio to 151% not 250%

My view at this point.....

Debt is the problem for the company, so until the problem is finally solved the share price will be under water and also undervalued.
Another matter is the management has in the past being too bullish like now and then not meeting the forecast on EPS ( they forgot to add extra shares last time).
Interest paid amounted to 29% of profits. Total debt of A$20.5M is 2.5 times market cap of 8M what will it be a very large placing? no wonder directors are trying to bring bullish figures just one month after last Year results on the hope share price improve ahead of the raising cash. Any other stock in this sector on Fcast of 2.6p share price should be 20/25p on a debt of 30 to 50%, not like now 250%

Strange as you say on the bottom ( copy and paste by me ) but the real conclusion I get is the director that make that calculation was not UP TO IT.
It tells you a lot about the company and who runs it.
I was interested in the company in the past and had it at one time but now though she still looks undervalued, I will think twice before buying again.

That was sort of explained by the change in exchange rate, the tax and extra shares in issue from when that statement made. Take those back to how it was and they would have shown an EPS of 2.07p.
