Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Laserdisc - a well respected poster on ADVFN posts that Robert Trices technical papers ( technical library) have been removed from the Hurricane web page. Does anyone know if there is a way to access deleted documentation such as this?

I have been watching the 200 MDA for a while, if and I believe it is a possibility a bid is made in the next few months I would expect the acting CEO to be confirmed as CEO with all the accompanying benefits prior to any bid. Anything goes on AIM and IF a bid appears this will rank among the best of the worst on AIM.

This Edison report is as bad as it gets. Commissioned by HUR and together with similar reports cost £50K. We can all believe and it is probably true that the new BOD were going to kitchen sink it as per previous RNS. Just my view but Hurricane would have been privy to the contents before publication so it suits their agenda.
To me this leaves only leaves a few scenarios.
The BOD are complicit in trashing the company ready for a cheap takeover and I do not believe this for one minute.
They want to appear as hail the conquering heroes when the technical review is published. A bit overkill with this report In my opinion as the damage was already done by the previous RNS.
We are possibly at the start of a long and slow death.
As a LTH it gives me no pleasure to write this just giving my view. I stand to lose a eye watering amount on HUR but as always
GLA.
That is my understanding as well so any discussion re. buying back some of the bonds is unsurprisingly not possible. Probably the most comprehensive documentation for those that are interested.

It is not a correct statement of fact. O.G.A. have made a proposal to HUR/Spirit for field determination of local closure at Lincoln. HUR/Spirit have 60 days to respond to the proposal which is due early this September.
GLA.
Thank you adoubleuk for sharing your knowledge. Two observations, if some of the majors have already appraised the area any recent interest in areas surrounding HUR licences are as a fractured basement? I have read that a small part of the Clair field is actually produced from fractured basement rock.
GLA.
From a non oilie holder so please be kind! As a LTH I hope that there is still hope for HUR as a fractured basement explorer/producer but is there any research that has been done on the licence areas as conventional plays?
GLA
Definitely not good news and I am hurting alongside other LTH’s. but could this be good management to flush out those who are shorting?
GLA.
Ha ha no problem. Often rears its head on here.

No problems, just awaiting a slot on NWO Anlegger1. The jetty is natural deep water so draft is not a problem. On jetty early hours this morning, 24 hour discharge slot given.

Nearly that time on a Friday when the price is walked up a bit ready to start the same charade next week. This sp is going nowhere until It suits certain players. I do not buy the “because of the risk” reasoning as to the why the current price Is where it is. Very logical assumption to make but reluctantly I have to join the conspiracy theorists on this one. Have a good weekend all.

Draught reported as 10.8 on departure. 8.6. on arrival.

Departed AM 17.30. Due Wlhelmshaven Friday 17.00 . Draught not displayed at present.

From a non oilie but good to see the techie opinions on here today makes a refreshing change, thanks. Have a good weekend everyone.

Yes I remember this proposal (suggestion) from PMO and HUR gave it short shift but HUR is in a lot weaker position now. If a deal can be done for a tariff per barrel over Solan it may well suit HUR/Spirit to get production underway at Lincoln earlier.

From the 8-07-2020 R.N.S.
The Oil and Gas Authority ("OGA") has given notice to the GWA joint venture of a proposed field determination area over local structural closure at the Lincoln discovery. Hurricane is committed to working with its partner Spirit Energy on the best route forward for the Lincoln discovery.
So the O.G.A. have proposed a field determination at local structural closure and the J.V.’s are discussing this or is this not the case?
GLA.
This is a cracking RNS by a very experienced management under playing their hand. Lincoln field determination, 15k per.day, put options, reduced capex. CB’s not the elephant in the room that they potentially could have been. This will do for me whatever the short term market view is.
GLA.
I believe an RNS will not be issued until the fate of Lincoln is determined, hopefully not too long a wait. Cost of P&A is around £12M. If the decision is in HUR favour a detailed forward activity plan can then be finalised.
GLA.
I took it to be a possible positive. One that HUR is complying with the licence conditions and the extension given to the timeline for P&A. Secondly if the extent of the field determination goes in the company’s favour the permits will be in place to carry out a different type of operation?Probably wrong I often am.

Bite the bull, good to see there are still a few of us hanging on by our fingertips.
