The planned series of 11 successive weekend strikes was abandoned by the train drivers’ union, Aslef, on Thursday evening.

The union’s general secretary, Mick Whelan, said: “We are pleased to have finally resolved this long-standing issue with LNER of abuse of our agreements. We look forward to normal working resuming.”

Agree that funds are tied up and headway is bumpy but the spikes allow an averaging down as do the drops (provided they recover).

Indeed - there will be another sellable spike IMHO but this could as easily visit 290 again before the RNS and many will sell the news.

Have trimmed 60% to an average (new position) of 238p and will buy back again is the SP falls again. This is Harbour after all.

Guess no one in interested in this stock until it zips up 15% on results and then it is too late. Accumulating once again, should see 320 330 340 as it flies up again.
