This is a winner, no doubt, always busy execept when closed, hopefully never closed again.

I am cautious ahead of results as usually they disappoint. Have traded this around 6 times and have averages my holding down to 162p despite the limited moves. Will rebuy back around 180p, my holding is relatively small.

Well held, patience pays Mr Beaky. Fainter hearts would have relaised unnecessary losses and had post sale regret.

The haven that is airports is right nad ripe for rip off prices.
Surrounded by others screaming kids, baggage overcharges, long queues and waits. I would pay any price for 60 minutes sanctuary. That is priceless.

We have an Artisan coffee shop who charges £11 for a sachet of Columbian coffee, £25 for a trio of 3 one cup sachets and yet people will pay.

The issue for SSPG is the sirport reopening but it is gaining momentum and people have money in their pockets (well the travellers presumably.

This share will rocket at some point once more certainly returns, have no doubt about that, even if it is from a lower base.

I am adding and will continue to do so near £2.

Trust no one lol. The shareholder is the last to know.

I used to take losses and then watch shares recover so I do my research, select an entry price and wait until it comes into view and try to get in even lower on a strong down day for the stock or a few days after. I try to avoid baskets cases and feel I generally "invest" in companies with potential.

No company (even Amazon, Apple, Tesla) goes to the moon without coming back to some extent. I feel AVON is a good recovery play here and may yet be wrong but entry here is closer to the bottom than £30+ even if we go sub £18 sub £15 sub £10............ yikes!

Who knows, but at some point it may well soon be above £20 £24 £30 +

I add in tranches as the price falls and hold for recovery at some point in time. I rarely hit the bottom or sell all at the top but hey it makes an interesting & profitable hobby.

IC say SELL (I believe at 230p a few days back)

This is usually a strong buy signal in my book :)

Glad the share price was too expensive for a spec punt in May.

Article gas not aged well, like many IC articles but a good analysis still the same for those buying at these levels.

Shares in Avon Rubber fell sharply yesterday after the military supplier warned of problems with its bullet-proof vest kits.

The Wiltshire-based company warned investors that profits would not be as high as expected for the year to the end of September 2021 because of issues with two crucial contracts supplying the US military.

Shares in Avon Rubber, which had been one of the best performing stocks in London this year, fell 445p, or nearly 12 per cent, to £32.95.

Whether it feeds to OTB jurt is out but it is better news towards normalisation.

All good in my book. Next results should be a marked improvement in outlook at least.

Topped up in the mid July drop in the [low 120s], looking good atm.

Think that the new store formats are going to improve margins going forward.

Everyone loves new shoes.

Just breaking £3 and then the floodgates will open on the upside.

Nice to see a rise today, could zip + 10% in a few hours or over the next few sessions. The FED is supportive and will guide the recovery.

10% rally from lows still leaves AVON -32% so plenty of scope for a bounce.

Tend to agree but will lighten into rises and buy back on falls as long as my average drops over time it works well. Aiming to be zero net cost with an increasing holding.

Of course profit is accumulated and taxed & accounted for correctly using S104 matching for CGT.
As an FCA I account to HMRC for every penny.

Most of the holding is in an ISA so 85%+ is tax-free anyway. Tax free allows me to ignore the stamp % as a cost.

The balance of the holding (non - ISA) will not sold until opportune to realise tax efficiently.
