Means buying in tranches if the initial entry moves against you then average into a better position than buying all at once. (adding) eg rather than invest £50000 at one price on a certain date, invest in 10 £5000 tranches.

For me trimming means lighting up part of a position or 1 or several of the tranches as the price recovers. If successful the average cost falls away significantly and often can end up with an investment that has a below zero cost over time.

Not for everyone, nor a recommendation.

Another nice move up but trimming a bit into the rise.

Hold a shedload of these and a move from by 35% that could drop 20p for no reason creates opportunities. I trade my position most days and trim at these levels and after adding a lot at mid 60s have been taking some off the table. Expecting £1+ near term, however nothing goes straight up.

Rarely do I exit a stock completely, however the spike seemed too good not to exit and wait for reentry at above 132 & finally @135p +. Started adding sub 116 and 112 , in tranches, and hoping for a repeat recovery.

£m 1Y 3Y charts suggesting a series of higher lows following the sub 111 on 2nd with a breakout above 120p crucial to resume the uptrend.

FY results at the end of May should provide comfort as the growth story resumes.

Judicial warnings have been ignored

Solicitors who bring “meritless” immigration judicial reviews could be referred to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) even on the first occasion, a High Court judge has warned.

The warning comes as the SRA carries out a major research project into the quality of immigration advice given to asylum seekers.

Sitting in the Asylum and Immigration Chamber of the Upper Tribunal, Mr Justice Green said: “It is improper for any practitioner to advance arguments which they know to be false or which they know, or should know, are inconsistent with their own evidence, including medical or other expert evidence.
