That means around 75 million shares will have to be bought back by the shorters. There is a very good chance of the shorters having to close their positions to minimise losses. This will result in an the share price being pushed even higher.

I had sold BP at a decent gain but got back heavily on Friday when BP fell(maxed out my SIPP & S& S ISA) as I realised the market manipulation Trump has been doing for some time. His Truth Social posts bore no resemblance to what the Al Jazeera reporter in Tehran was reporting.

Absolutely ridiculous buying back a mere 20,000 shares a day. The fall in the share price shhould be used to substantially increase the daily buyback

I posted a few days back my concern that Qube had not closed their short despite the then fall in the share price. Clearly they have more information than we have and will now make a tidy profit as they are bound to close their short now.

I have some concern that Qube is still shorting 0.89% as after the considerable reversal in the share price, I expected them to bank their profits and move on.
