George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Am I correct in thinking this isn't the repayment of Eqtec's loan to the SPV.? Looks like a loan to Eqtec with refinancing delayed til possibly next year.
At least we have an update.
Well July and August weren't really summer-like weather in SW England. So perhaps they don't count? ;) On the other hand, September is starting very summery. But you are right, another missed deadline cancelling effect of pieces of positive news. I guess they just pick negotiating deadlines out of the air, when really they can't control when such things complete. Perhaps macro economics are against Eqtec. But if so, be more conservative with timelines.
I was looking out for HY financials at end of Sept. But you are correct D&c, there has been a trading update at close to end of Aug in last couple of years. So perhaps something next week. If SOH has further grounds to feel positive then more likely. Let's hope so.
I think SOH said the cost of transferring to AIM comes down after 18 months on AQSE. Which i think would be end of Sep. SOH has mentioned moving to AQSE, possibly then, but his comments are often vague on timescale. Again, I think he is aware of shareholders displeasure and mentions that Opti is the biggest shareholder. However, whilst he will have a say in any transfer of exchanges, presumably Steen will have too?
I think the lack of SP movement reflects the view that Eqtec are still very much on trial. And each bit of positive news is not backed up with timely consolidation.
As is stated below, Italy MDC refinance is dragging on. So too NF, with court action over NFCDC bankruptcy not fully resolved, as I understand it.
I certainly agree this contract and projects with Idex could be followed with several others. So again, today's news needs prompt follow up. Get agreed work done by Dec 23!!
Might prove useful one day?

Not sure I agree with the P&D opinión. Though remains to be seen how far Opti will fall back, now that buyers' volume drying up. Hope it settles soon. As HY figures are about 6 weeks off. And could reenergise if strong.
Not a share for a quick profit, usually. More a slow, painful loss over last few years. Though traders and some braver LTHs may have recouped some money with recent sharp rise.
Dobbin. Good question. Personally, no idea. But could be quite an earner if your musings are even remotely close. Also, many strands to SweetBiotix. So could payoff many times over. Hope this stimulates some debate. And as you say, perhaps we have someone who might know more about pricing these things.
Also from minutes. Lawsuit hearing extensión /unresolved. Is that Eqtec plant? Was scheduled to coincide with "meeting of all involved parties" on 17/18th Jul. Now 10 Aug.
Again pleasantly surprised that volume is still there. Albeit not at the very high levels of previous week. I thought the SP was ready to drift sideways at 25p but has risen again.
Next expected news should be HY figures at end of September. Anything positive before will be a bonus.
Just to reiterate, in recent podcast SOH said best Q2 ever though no mention of Q1. And as was pointed out to me on Adv, still the need to raise c. £600k by sale of some SBTX.
This link has need shared by Elrico on advfn. It is on Soundcloud so just go there and search Opti.
Extract. "Best Q2 ever" this year! So sales going well. Plenty of cash to cover into next year. But will continue to use SBTX to raise £250-£500k for eg Acquisition, sales Promotion eg in US, India or SweetBiotix launch. And will drip feed via Cenkos to mitigate effect on SBTX SP.
