It would be useful (as often) to know the broad terms of this agreement. Eg do Tata get % of sales? Have Opti paid to use Tata ingredient? Have Tata paid Opti for privilege?
Thanks. Interesting that PBX are putting out info under Opti website. But don't mind if it saves money.
My question would be, would any successful IPO of MyProtein by THG be beneficial to Opti partnership with them? I'm still a little wary of THG given their apparent difficulties.
Well, Ole, i hope you are right. I keep holding in the hope of improved trading and eventually profit in 1st generation products. And, of course, as you refer to, the expectation that SweetBiotix will come good. But it is taking forever, due in no small part, to the timescales and priorities of large partners. Firmenich and our mystery US company.
Also, as you point out, there appears to be chunky buying of Opti, which is reassuring. But volumes are not substantial, IMO.
So, I'm convinced that patience is required. And, we could get news next week. But, there again...
Bon vacances à Neuchâtel.
Well, since you "sensed buying interest", about £13k worth of buys. So correct on that score. Whether something is a foot ; that is another matter. Would you care to elaborate?
Lord, yes, i think that does about sum it up. But we live in hope. Wherever that might be. 🤞😔
Only wanted to change the thread. Suppose in quiet news times we get diverted to talk about other things. How about:
Will we get a SweetBiotix announcement before Christmas? What else of significance might be on the horizon?
Mol - thanks, as ever. It took me a while to find the article, even though you had taken the time to put the publication in front of my nose.
PS: Healthy aging is a must for Opti holders, if they are to stay around long enough to benefit.
Elrico, very helpful. Thanks. MU.
I have a YouTube channel with some pretty ropey covers of all sorts of songs. No charge too:) Needless to say, my advertising revenue is very low. And my profile description includes: "Very little talent, but worse still, no shame." Best wishes to all long-suffering holders. Cheers. MU.
Lord - ha! Another chuckle.
AS - thanks for ref to Hotstock. Figs from yesterday still a bit obscured due to H1 22 comparison and Probiotix costs included (inseparable?) for part period. As you say.
Possibly low key as nothing to update with. It is taking "forever". But mainly due IMO, to going at pace of large partners. But agree, it would be a major step forward, if successful. And within next year!
So, disappointing results but, so far, heavy interest! Any ideas?
Seems like timing and terminology are key! Let's hope the following statement becomes booked revenue within H2.
"During the first half of the financial year the Group received confirmed orders totalling £1.5m which is 16% greater than turnover for the period to 31 December 2022 of £1.31m. Of the orders received, £552k (2021: £302k) had been completed and invoiced as at 30 June 2023. The increase in sales for the first half of the year reflects strong development in new customer acquisition as well as growth from existing customers. Gross profit for the period amounted to £264k (2022: £154k)."
And as you say reliance is spread over more large partners.
Andrew, yes H2 higher. Also, I think some of the figures for H1 22 may be tricky to compare as Probiotix spun off Mar 22. Some references in commentary/table footnotes.
Bit early to judge under new CEO. One ref to Aquis/AIM.
We will continue to work with Aquis and explore opportunities on other markets, including AIM, to increase liquidity in the Company's share price.
Yes. Very disappointing. Usual rosy outlook. Revenue underwhelming, cash reduced, receivables/payables increased. At least operating loss reduced.
Anyone care to speculate on any of the financials in upcoming H1 figs, probably out this week? What would constitute a positive position following SOH's bullish comments recently. Eg revenues £500k,£750k...
My last post as sold last week.
