"Hi. Have the ecommerce sales continued to grow significantly into H2 2025 and early 2026. How important is the ecommerce relative to deals with companies like Morepen, and the other US and asian companies?
Hi, Ecommerce is one of four areas we have been investing in to grow. These are Asia, India, USA and what we call Consumer Health (Amazon, our own website, Ebay, China and recently India). Amazon is one of the worlds biggest ecommerce market place which we have invested in to build a large customer base and it continued to grow in 2025 with marketing investment. Our focus now is on profitability on Amazon which we hope to achieve this month or next. This should then grow into a highly profitable business. Our own website is already profitable. China should become profitable in Q2 as we changed our partner last summer and have been clearing stock with a short shelf life at discount. Once this is clear we should be profitable in China. This is all part of building a business - building a brand, product range and customer base. Ecommerce is part of that mix and reduces our dependency on partners. You cannot have a dependency on one part of the business, one product, one partner, or one country. We need more partners in India and the USA to reduce any future dependency. Asia is showing great growth and will make a significant contribution to sales in 2026. "
