Thanks for the link. At last the i/v asked a difficult question: "how long to completion?" Which not surprisingly DP avoided. But, the project is one of our larger ones, so not easy to say. I would guess 2-3 years.

The i/v was quite wide ranging, talking about general rejection of incineration by LAs. And looking for new, cleaner and efficient waste2energy solutions. Also mentioned recent site visit to Billingham and looking into energy needs of neighbouring companies.

Hopefully all the MM games, ( to create business when volume is low?), will pale into insignificance when higher revenues flow and projects start becoming operational. But it could be a bit of a wait. Next year or the one after.

V111jas, on the subject of the US wanting something for (next to) nothing. Under the NF agreement:

"For the first five years of operation the share of profits from the associate is limited to 0.1999% rising to 19.99% thereafter."

Now we are near 50% shareholders, would we expect this to change?

As with many investments, timing and indeed, timescale are important. Also, there is no risk free share. So, of course, Eqtec could fail to deliver this year. Or indeed ever. However, IMO, Eqtec will succeed. Whether next year, the year after or even further in the future.

Have to agree (admit?) that agreement news will only temporarily lift SP. Really need to see strong revenue flowing (as promised/forecast) and costs staying in check. But, Eqtec have a good business model IMO though this does involve relying on partners, which in turn doesn't help deadlines.

Lord - good post. Agree, more patience required. It is easy to take c.45% increase in revenues for granted. Likewise, improved gross profit margins. Profit will come soon. Though if extra staff are needed, might be pushed back a bit further. Cash stays fairly stable at close to £1m.

John, agree. I guess some people have different time horizons and definitions of "long term" hold.

Also, increase in gross margin to 44% from 39% over last half year.

But, yes, all quiet on Sweet. And, indeed, opposite on Skin.

Had a quick reread of last year's interims. Obviously we will get detailed breakdown of the costs. Which will show how gross margin is doing.

Last time around there was nothing re post period revenues. Just a generally positive comment on FY. And further general comments re commercial progress and hopes for the future.

Perhaps best not to get too excited, whenever interims appear.

FWI-on current rev/loss, perhaps overvalued; on assets, perhaps fair; on potential, probably under. But latter is least certain of three. Haven't given this a great deal of thought though!
