So, on these bigger projects. If Kibo and the like borrow to fund purchase of the SPV, isn't there a danger of the project not getting completed? Which whilst not "our problem", wouldn't reflect well on Eqtec. Or is this highly unlikely?

BTW I like to ask awkward questions, perhaps seeming to be negative, but just like to look at positives and negatives. Also, I don't want Eqtec to be building up figures in "receivables" column.

Does this bit imply more than £3m is required?

Some great posts Der Sack and Rendj. I bought into Eqtec because I like the idea of making energy from waste, with minimum pollution. Unlike incineration. I am learning as i go about how the business model works. So appreciate posters taking time to explain the details. Danke schön and thanks.

Phil - excellent post. I think the smaller, quicker projects are where limited resources should be focused. Billingham is years away but might be a good project eventually.

PS: CB jam might go mouldy but curdle...?

Not sure that answers the question. What do Kibo get for their £3m?

Not exactly level 2 info, but "barchart" showing MMs bidding for 1.25m shares whilst offering only 200k @ 1.1 and 1.2 resp. Any thoughts?

Phil, fair comment. But with all DP's own reservations, perhaps he should have set a more modest target.

I agree that we can't finance such projects without partners. But, I also share the misgivings re how much Kibo are paying for almost 55%. However, the latter may reflect my lack of knowledge of such agreements/funding vehicles.

Annoying as some (most) of CBs comments might be, he does have a point about revenue. Whilst €15m is not impossible, with current info, it seems highly unlikely.

Pointless! Fun or otherwise. The projects are very slow as construction is a main factor. Although funding is taking an age on big projects. If you believe, hold and put to back of mind. (Mr V Meldrew).

Surely the government should get behind these companies. And with a proper strategy not just chucking a few million at it. Not least because govt has had to request use of coal power again due to gas price rises (allegedly). See BBC, etc.
