Average Price22 Jun 2025 16:29
My records tell me I started investing in this share almost 8 years ago (initially GEO before the name change to EEE). In September 2017 after some research GEO seemed an exciting prospect and I dipped my toe at the price of 20p! Over the years I've bought another chunk here and there - at ever declining share prices, resulting in a decent-sized bag of EEE at the average price of 4.15p. So that's my back-story, I've been here on this forum almost every day for 8 years through thick and thin... usually thin. From the hugely frustrating days of licencing issues for GEO in Georgia to the heady heights of where we are today sitting on this unicorn find. Legends like Manlord and AGEOS feel like my friends because I read an enjoy everything they say - but sit back quietly here in the background, too socially inept to respond probably! But with nobody ever realising I was here, not that anyone needs to know! I was heartened by the story here the other day from someone with a very similar average price and position size to myself - whose patience in this share has resulted in being able to fund important medical requirements and it was nice to hear there are probably many people like me who don't choose to pop our heads out, but have been quietly building positions in the background while witnessing the shenanigans and drama on this forum!
Anyway, get to the point man .... see, this is why I don't contribute.... I write too much!
My point was.... I've been investing for many years in many different things and have learned the mantra of 'averaging down' the price you pay for a share. I've done that pretty well here, always buying a chunk of these shares when we dropped 5p here and 1p there. I now find myself in the strange position of looking to add more of a position here - but at vastly higher prices than I'm used to and thus sending my average way higher! That feels weird... but with such conviction in what we have it seems like the only way to go now! There must be others in my position who have averages they're happy with - 4p, 6p, 8p, 10p, even 15p now is a fantastic-looking average all things considered! So I'll get busy sending my average higher and to the many in similar positions who'd like their averages to remain where they are - they'll only do that if you stop investing in this share - and I'd say that's probably not the way to go, we're still early. It'll be lovely to 50 bag on some of my shares. But it'll still be great 10 bagging on others!
