Wow the ask has motored up.....the ask is rapidly approaching 50% up on my buy two days ago............getting a bit excited about this now! MikeyT21 - lol poor brother. Let's see if we can get some of those guys here to throw some comments in. Milymog - this share was in auction period all day yesterday and I asked MikeyT21 to take a look so he punted 1k in and it's just ticking up - still in auction. nearly everything in two days is a buy way above normal volumes......

I make it 2hrs to open - is that the right time difference?

Mikey it's actually listed on this website on the trades. Time: 06.37.08 250000 @ 10.71 Also look on the day before right at the end of trading...another 286k was picked up. Considering the spread on the day I bought those have to be buys.....

No definitely definitely definitely lol there was something there at 6.30am. Sorry I may have been mistaken as it might have been 250000. It came up on the L2 as an "other" trade as it didn't fulfill a buy or a sell. Could be nothing but was def there with a timestamp of 6.30am - I kept looking at it thinking that was odd as this share was always small volume.

Interesting having a stock traded on two exchanges - almost round the clock. Watching each other again!

I have to say this is good to see in this market. It's tough to find the upside when things are like this but those buys keep coming in............ Yesterday's buys did include a big overnight trade of 275k that registered at 6.30am which I think was the telling one alone. £30k into a share which has done nothing for so long surely couldn't have been "on a whim". It's just going to be another all day auction then isn't it at this rate...

From the look of todays trade values I'm pretty sure they're all buys but I don't have my Level 2 so trying to look at the trades on here and recall the spread at the time but anything at 14 or over is a buy for sure...... It's very tense this.

We keep ticking in small steps. I like this - no crazy rise straight off the bat. Small steps trying to put the feelers out is what they are doing.

Agreed - there's a prominent misconception that MMs hold millions of shares in companies but that just isn't the case. People get confused with thinking buys are buys and sells are sells (we know this isn't the case). However I take your point about the longs and shorts......that explains it to me. Small tick on live bid to 13.3 - they do want them then...

Well my mate hasn't a clue - his only experience of this is when the LSE has problems with the whole ProQuote system and move every stock into an extended auction call period. But he does reckon we're on the right track with the MMs over here not totally sure what is going on. So none the wiser I'm afraid.... MikeyT21, no delayed trades is good then as could do without them buying and selling for quick profits. If everything has been buys again I just can't see the MMs holding all this stock. The volumes were notoriously low so why hold too much of it? Cannot, however, be too sure of that.

Haha no complaints my friend. In this falling market it's a sterling performance. The banks are volatile as anything at the moment.....GL with RBS but that WILL recover as the election in the UK draws ever nearer otherwise the Conservatives will just say Labour wasted every pound it poured in. Well in my opinion anyway.

Do you ever sleep? :-) I agree and thought this earlier - yesterday, as you said, we had what looked like UK MMs not knowing for sure what to do because of the silence/shroud surrounding the rise and looking to the Canadians. So I think the same is happening. I'm sitting on a healthy profit and could walk away right now but I think they've positioned this on the basis that something good is coming they just do not know what. So I'm in at 10.5 and can't see this plummetting down to that but the opportunity could be a few more pence short term. We wait and see I guess but it's great to see this "come alive". Come on TSX!

so that's actually 20% up........tempting but I'll pass thank you until the TSX starts later at least.

Gains now measured by the millilitre and not the £! I'm 18% myself but there's no sells really (could be mistaken as cannot see everything today such as delayed trades...) so they can't continue having all this stock to sell to us without moving the bid...

Lol - a thousand apologies! There's some serious money to be made short term on the banks again, that is true. I played RBS quite a lot over the last few monthson the odd 5% rise whenever it dipped but I'm thinking maybe BARC could well be the play for medium term. Hehe you chose to throw a £1k into here!

Morning just got to my desk after two days out and it doesn't look pretty in the office but this does! Unfortunately I can't run L2 today because it doesnt work from my office so I'm blind but I gather its in auction still??? And people are having trouble running trades online whereas some are ok? Oh and MikeyT21 are you now saying we actually have support showing at 13p? That's a bit of good news...there wasn't any on that yesterday or have I read that wrong? Still nice to see tick up and if the MMs really don't know what's going on then that is rather funny.

This is quite exciting isn't it lol? Off to work in a bit so blind from this until later but fingers crossed GL
