Block PEL 30 - Eco's toes In addition to the Osprey prospect there are an additional two prospects (Fan 2 and Fan 3) comprising the same play in close proximity to Osprey. Fan 2 lies along the eastern margin of the 3D seismic data and onlaps the western downdip extent of Osprey. Fan 3 is larger than Osprey but currently not covered by 3D seismic data. I remember asking a question as to why Tullow drilled the smaller of the prospects in PEL 37 and suggested it was a basic test of the play in their block. It seems to me that they already had in the back of their minds the possibility of migration. Cormorant is central in the group of prospects above the source kitchen and also it looks to be the marginally higher prospect. As C1 was unable to trap the oil generated than perhaps it is unlikely any of them will be, yet all may well have generated oil prior to ultimate migration.. it's only a thought.. So, with that in mind I don't think it's unreasonable to assume all those prospects have generated huge volumes of oil the same as cormorant, yet all possibly migrated west..

Worth keeping an eye on Oranto Petroleum PEL 43 which sits south east our PEL 29 and south to our PEL 10 yet west of C1 PEL 37 and south west to ECO PEL 30.

It feels as though Peters 20% holding in GBP is benefiting at his 6% TRP's expense ;-)

The primary targets within the block are large Albian toe of slope fans and overlying Santonian channel complexes.

The main Osprey prospect is a toe of slope sand filled submarine fan lobe(s), which is sealed by lateral stratigraphic & updip pinch-out of the reservoir. The prospect covers over 170km2 and is Albian in age overlying the main Aptian oil source rock (proven by the Murombe well to the south) which is calculated to be oil mature.

The Late Cretaceous Santonian channel play is characterised by channel networks with mounded tops suggesting differential compaction owing to sand fill. These are laterally sealed against shales in which they are encased. These well-developed channel systems extend from the shelf across paleo slope region and overly the C-T source rock interval.

So... a further read across possibility here and migration higher? PEL 10?

Once the licence has been fully issued, seeing as ENI have been drilling offshore Italy for 8 years and extended a further 3 years, surely they must be top of the list as farm in partners? Really looking forward to seepage data on these blocks. Seems we await imminent news on two fronts.. exciting times, and the shareprice is.. ppfffffff.

The Key Manhattan has secured an extension on its current contract with Eni offshore Italy until July 2021. The Key Manhattan has been working for Eni offshore Italy since 2010. ENI are just 35km from our awaiting blocks..

Personally I'd be surprised for them to comment on S, it doesn't link up like C1 (read across). It was a drill that could have started the frenzy but not much else as far as we are concerned.. that's how I see it.

I think those 4 are bordering premier oils blocks from memory.. I've been namibia focused and need to look again. They will need 2D seismic for starters.. should here about those soon!

The anticipated stacked target reservoirs were penetrated and the well encountered wet gas shows, indicating the presence of hydrocarbons in the system. Commercial hydrocarbons were not encountered.

No oil seeps at char, nice 4 way dipped though, was a gamble, i had a few, not many. it joins the 89% club.

I hope you don't mind me butting in, but our blocks are in the north of the basin where oil has been found. Comorant may be seen by investors as a failure but it's the oil industry that matters. They see comorant as a success and will be looking to see where that oil in comorant migrated too.. usually higher..

Cap sits at cash so you can do that right now... the licences, 2d and 3d data we have has no value attached to the share price.
