Whether any one likes it or not, all indicators are telling us oil has accumulated somewhere in the vicinity. Secondary migration pathways should tell them where and right now GBP are continuing to wave the flag.

Time will tell but all looking good. (imo)

Looking at the map below, to the south east of our new licence sits between C1 and the Wingat-1 well.

We now know C1 generated significant quantities of oil. as stated..

'Wet gas signatures, indicative of oil, were first encountered in the overlying shale section and persisted throughout the target interval, indicating that there has been significant hydrocarbon generation in the area.'

HRTs Wingat-1 well encountered several thin-bedded-sandy reservoirs that are saturated by oil. HRT collected four samples of this oil, each of 450cc, and the analysis of these samples indicated the presence of light oil, 38 to 42 API, with minimal contamination.

What sits between these are PEL 10 (GBP) and PEL 30 (ECO)

Had C1 been a four way dip closed than those significant hydrocarbons generated would have been far less likley to have migrated elsewhere... DYOR!

'The total lack of success' is rather harsh! You should really do more research! With that attitude Brazil's oil would never have been discovered! C1 was not a duster.. the 'Significant' oil generated found a new home. Again, DYOR!

You're second paragragh.. I think we are a long way from that situation. Interest in Namibia has only just begun and the 1 recent drill came up positive for the interested companies there. again DYOR!

It is a lot easier to announce a discovery in a timely manner than it is to a well where hydrocarbons have clearly migrated elsewhere wouldn't you agree?

Also good news for Char as a 4 way closure is like an upside down bucket. Oil just needs to migrate into it with only one seal required above.. looks good!
