Africa Energy... it's gone full circle from last year.. post termination of the Stellar mandate with the additional 15% (25% total) share increase requested by the board in a vote last November and still sitting there waiting to unfold now some 7 months later.. Africa Energy love to purchase 20-25% of the company.
He practically points at GBP in all but name! (All Imo of course so if anyone else is reading DYOR, there are months and months to trawl through here.) So I'll sell it to him just to get it off my chest!
"The play was proved and the question is really just to trace the migration of the hydrocarbons"
Stick a drill bit in our Read across silver lining licence called pel 94 to the south east.. it's most likely collected there in a robust structural trap and/or try East of Welwitschia, another robust structural trap there.. between the two you can check out a few straph traps if you like but go for the robust structural traps first.
"assessing opportunities that we’re familiar with in terms of the play"
its next door, slight NW direction, follow the thief channel, Pancontintal can provide a nice pic, its the same read across to your proven play and you might find the migrated oil from Albatross and all the others too, even Eco's prospect in 30.
"looking at areas where the petroleum system is working in blocks that have some running room."
We have loads! 5 large prospects and 2 exciting leads currently thanks to Namcor relinquishing a 25% reduction due. Billions of barrels of potential here and rather alot of hydrocarbon indicators too if you care to look. 87% of succesful wells have them. Only 11% without those indicators go on to be discoveries.. do the maths bud! 29 has oil slicks to its north, gemsbok has repeating oil seeps along the faulted flanks, Welwitchia deep has channeled chimneys rooted below the Aptian, eco advertise oil slicks in 94 but no idea where its come from..
Your mates Exxon have just moved adjacent to pel 29..
A bit of frustrated fun.. but all true.
