I think I would sleep better knowing I could only lose 5k not 30 k
blackbridge have I got the maths wrong please let me know I am genuinely trying to figure this out
I think 3xrr can be less risky than ordinaries. A 10k holding of 3xrr would give the same exposure as £30k in ordinaries. The most you could lose, on a bad day, if the 3xrr cut off is 50% with 3xrr would be 5k. You could lose a lot more with 30 k in ordinaries - potentially the lot. Please correct me I I am wrong

This share price has come down on profit taking. Traders have made 200-300 % profit so they have sold. Experienced traders know people do this. When the price declines many of them re-buy at a cheaper price and wait for the next rise. It really is a simple as that with a solid resource and company like GGP.
This is not some kind of manufactured pump and dump - there’s no need to pump and dump with (probably) a tier 1 asset with such a tiny market cap in a safe jurisdiction with all the infrastructure and a major in place needing the resource !
Beardozer I think the share has come down on low volume. The free float is tiny here so the slightest whiff of news will send it flying as it always has done before, particularly as the circumstances are now better than ever
Allthatguff I have already made thousands on this share and this time will be no different I have been living off companies like Zioc for years
The RNS of 11th December 2019 is a relaxing read. There are very clear and well thought through development and funding options for this enormous resource - all backed by a very substantial Chinese partner with substantial experience in developing these types of projects in Africa.
Zioc expects to update shareholders on progress in Q1 2020.
I am close to certain news will bring a significant change to the share price. I have been accumulating shares and will continue to do so because I don’t want to miss out on the likely future explosive growth here.
This is getting exciting now, just bought some more under 134. I shall continue to buy if it continues to go down. If I get anxious I just look at the long term chart, think of the huge free cash flow and the divi + Vodafone's investment in 5g etc and just relax. Obviously nobody can be sure but this is looking very cheap now to me.
Are they buying the shares between now and 25th Feb, then issuing them on 25th Feb to avoid dilution, when they can then only be sold for 180 p is that it ?
I don't understand how Vodafone could be buying back shares before 25th February if they haven't yet been issued by then ?
Could somebody please explain to me the share buy back deal. It says in the rns that the shares would be issued on 25th February 2019 - would that not amount to a dilution ? I'm in with 12,000 shares at an average of 1.41
Yes agreed 2pence if you have been in VAST for sometime you would recognise this as one of the best RNS s we have ever had. If the SP doesn't go much higher then this in the near future I would be very surprised. I certainly topped-up this morning it seems obvious
I don’t understand why people are seeing this rns as negative. Surely its the best indication we have ever had that the licence is about to land
addic the truth is i'm not very good at buying spiking shares - to me there's a sense of missing the boat. Once that happens it no longer feels like a bargain and of course the more you pay the higher the risk becomes. So I take the chance and get in early. My hunch here is its looking good, especially when you factor in funding until end 2019. In my few years experience its very often dilution that trashes a share and the present risk here of that is low. I like Alba because of its diversification but worry about a placing there. The one thing I am certain of though is unexpected things happen on Aim so I try to view it as a bit of fun
sorry last post should only show once
JB UKOG are setting about proving the oil can be brought to the surface in a profitable way - thats the gamble. They are doing this work right now and it takes time. If the results are good the sp will rocket, if they are not it will probably fall - so you only invest what you can afford to lose and hope for the best.
