Its especially good when you consider IGS - £ millions in new contracts - BNR owns almost 30 % .
We should find out what its for shortly
It puts BNR in an unusually strong cash position for such a low market cap
It turn out news did leak after close on Friday. Placing at .45 , warrants at .65
Put another way, if you knew the contents of a RNS on Monday morning you wouldn't need to try to influence things one way or another - the RNS would do its job on Monday morning when the market opens regardless of anything anyone says on here - active investors would have had an hour to read and digest it and act if they see fit. On the other hand there would be a lot of value in fabricating a story - especially if you thought (or knew) positive news was on the way having dumped shares on Friday. You could potentially create an reaction which gives you an opportunity to re-buy your shares at a lower price. My hunch is that if anyone knows anything they know there is positive news coming. I will happily eat my words if I am wrong
I don't know just trying to work it out
You could say the idea of creating a panic only works if you don't have evidence. Because if you wanted to create a panic after dumping on Friday then disclosing the source of the evidence would be your best bet. Either way i'm not in the slightest bit concerned. I shall be topping up next week regardless.
If the person who started the rumour of a placing really did have inside information then what would be the value to them of blurting it out on here ? If you really had this kind of information would it not put you in a stronger position to keep quiet about it ?
Even if there is a placing announced next week it doesn't mean the sp will drop. The sp would respond positively if the terms and purpose are received well
Would it not be better for BNR to do a placing when the sp is higher than it is now - which it would be after good lithium news ?
As Stoned has said usually after news - PREM is a good recent example of this
Or are you not using the word 'clearly' in its literal sense in which case its not at all clear or it is only to you because you have a source of inside information. I'm not trying to be clever or facetious just trying to understand the basis of your comment because as a shareholder its of interest to me as I am sure it would be to all shareholders
Still searching for the information you say has been clearly leaked Credible please can you point me in the right direction because I just can't find it anywhere
Agreed the reduction in sp on Friday afternoon doesn't mean that a placing is on the cards, it means more shares were sold than bought for whatever reason. We all know it takes very little to move this share in either direction.
I spend most of my life in courtrooms listening to people making excuses for their poor behaviour and choice of words, i've heard it all about 20,000 times before
dress it up as you like, you just strongly implied I am a manipulator and called me a ****** - thats plain wrong and offensive.
Stoned if you read my posts carefully you will see that I am a genuine investor who fully supports BNR. How does alienating genuine investors by calling them ******s assist BNR or the sentiment on this BB ?
I guess none of us know. I do have a very good feeling about this share though, its by far my largest long-term holding. I made some more small top-ups today taking advantage of the drop. Kodal's rise was very impressive and I think with the lithium as well as IGS, no debt etc and in my view very sound management BNR could do even better.
Or a RTO there are lots of options for BNR
or investment from elsewhere - which is what happened with Kodal which has adjacent licenses
