You're either arguing semantics or just being a pedant ironman. The actual sp is not *really* what people are talking about. All anyone here cares about is how much their orph shares will net them in the long term, be it from dividends, the company being sold or them selling out their shares themselves. The predictions of share price are more indicative of potential than a prediction of where the share will actually hit, at least I take it to mean that.

Why does anyone care if it's 20p added to the share price long term or 20p paid as a special dividend? It makes no massive difference, although the latter preferable.

Honestly I dont find it at all hard. In all my research I couldn't find a better company in a better space to be investing in than ORPH, so I have no plans to sell out until the story for the worse.

Is this still loss making? Seems a crazy valuation for a company still losing money and due to run out of cash within a year at current levels.

Or we could all travel to the ITX board and point out the loss making nature of the business and the dwindling cash reserves

Immutex definitely will be under 500, CF alluded to the fact a few times. I think the expectation was aorund £200m. I also dont see news on it dropping next but who knows.

I remember reading on one of these boards/twitter/facebook/wherever some guy saying he always kept one share when he sold out of a **** one as a permanent reminder of the mistakes he'd made. Love that idea myself, I think it's good not to hide from mistakes as the brain has a way of only remembering/thinking about the good things as time goes on.

Thanks Passer, I'm well into the black here from considerable purchases towards the end of HVOs life, beginning of ORPHs and along the way up and plan to hold longer than nearly anyone here I would think. I will always nurse losses from scam shares like EQT, UKOG, and KOOV (and SXX though jurys out on whether I should class that in the same bracket), but then I'm guessing most people here can say the same of other shares.

The important thing is to learn lessons, learn them quickly, get out of shares that you know deep down stink, and find save havens that your gut tells you are legit and show real promise, like ORPH are to me. Then, when the dust settles, on everything you hopefully have positioned yourself well enough along the way to be in the black overall.

Haha, no Ian Price was a fraud, Trevor was just useless. I know for a fact some of the dirty inner workings of EQT, whereas Trevor I had nothing but suspicisions about a lucrative deal being offered to him. Perhaps I'm giving him more credit than he deserves (I always felt no one could be THAT useless unintentionally as he never struck me as stupid).

Yes, I for one will never forgive Trevor for being one of the most useless and lackadaisical CEOs I've been invested in, and selling such an obvious asset so cheaply. I still believe he must have been offered some pretty special personal terms to let HVO rot and be taken over so cheaply, especially in its final weeks where it fell about 40% pretty much no volume whatsover whilst Phillips recommended we all approve the buy out at the artificially low price.

The blessing is we have gone from the chalk to the cheese and now got one of the best CEOs (or equivalent job title) on AIM.

CF is so good I can *almost* forgive him for promising HVO holders we would retain Immutex as a seperate vehicle before hastily getting the interview taken down within a day, and never mentioning it again.

I dont think its unlikely at all either. Im a long term HVO holder too, although did average down considerably with the takeover, but I would still be comfortable even with a 37p average
