I think I seem to remember SD once saying that some of the funds mandated to invest in ASX listed companies could invest before a company actually listed so long as there was a firm intention for the company to list. Surely it would make sense to try and beat the herd, I know I would but institutions don’t always work like that. Maybe just maybe we might get a few who break the mould.

I think Telfer will be about as underfed as Billy Bunter given a free pass in an all you can eat greasy spoon. Fill your boots Billy there’s plenty more where that came from.
Yes, Shaun has put O’ Callaghan’s in the shop window and they are “open for business”. The potential there has been known about for a long time, so probably as much about timing and the right situation occurring as it now being split from Newcrest/Newmont. I wouldn’t be surprised if this has been in the pipeline some time.
This page only records new listings for which ASX has received a formal listing application. A formal application would typically only be made late in the listing process when the entity has made all necessary preparations to list in the near term (i.e. within four to six weeks).
Once we have the figures for the first quarter I would imagine the administration process for the ASX listing is going to have to start in short order to allow completion in June. Going to be busy the next 3 months.
Yes Chuffchuff, if the price is still tempting there’ll be some more room available for additional GGP in my ISA in a few weeks time, to be tucked away nicely with the others.
The mill keeps turning, the rigs keep spinning, the planners keep planning, the ore keeps piling, the gold keeps pouring, the company keeps growing and the cash keeps rolling in. Just keep doing what your doing Greatland.👍
Another nice problem to have: We can’t tell you how much gold and copper we’ve got because as soon as we get close to working it out we find a load more.
It might not have been mined yet, but don’t forget the Tungsten. I like the sound of O’Callaghan’s the kind of place where you should be able to get a good pint of Guinness.
