Posting negative things without a bit of backup, everyone who is a proper investor in RR will know what they are doing to lower costs and can read the many many board posts, so your post is viewed in my opinion and many others are a way to scare people exactly as RRinvestor has stated

It doesn’t need silly de rambling comments, just 100% accurate facts that help discuss the situation at hand would be better

Impressive recovery I’d say in all sectors commercial, freight and jets etc, I encourage anyone to look as again it’s hard facts things are moving in the right way for RR to recover nicely

And please don’t post RR are only on wide Body as they are Not, a lot Of Older & freight planes use RR engines (One of the Biggest customers is FEDEX running the older RB211 Engines so it all adds up)

Nice to see the aviation sector coming back to life for all Concerned, airports, staff, pilots aswell

I only state facts and things that come from people on the shop floor & company itself, so no rubbish made up by some people sitting at home thinking they know what’s going on and spouting rumours

I like to see Both sides but in this case I see much much more positives

Also If anyone did research the government Helped heavily funded the new test facility at derby for the years of development work to be carried out within the U.K. on new products so already has an interest to Support when needed

Again more positives than negatives now in most sectors now, RR included

The problems as stated in a previous post from a few years ago was the trent 1000 blade design and the covid situation, both have had come at the wrong time and things don’t read well in the media BUT things have been put in place to Weather and get through as stated all along

Put simply These two things alone are going to be fixed and pass, RR with all the things they have put in place will see this through and start to re build as they wanted to do before this, probably and most likely be a better more profitable leaner company then before

The future holds good things:

-Covid gone or managed
-Lower overheads Due to cost savings/Manpower Etc
-XWB the most fuel efficient & biggest selling engine ever
-Some New orders deferred while older aircraft are used for a little Longer (which Can hold RR engines)
-T1000 issues fixed
-T1000 AOG returned to 0
-Big Defence system contacts continued to being won
-Power systems and nuclear at cutting edge
-marine orders always steady
-Ultra fan New engine development program To
Come
-Battery powered testing on aircraft
-New Multimillion test bed On line
-Flights up on a daily basis globally

Yes it doesn’t look great for anyone in the world atm but companies will come through this if they act correctly and have future growth and this one has!

Soon know From the horses mouth that they have always been over manned in all areas, that’s just RR for you. They are reducing the employees because it “CAN” operate and generate a profit without them (this plan is actually from a few years ago not just now, the covid has just underlined to get it done)

The situation with Civil, MRO is the least effected in the civil sector in man power reductions and workload, this is the sector that generates most if not all of civil money (clearly showing a steady rise up from months ago)

They have done things to insure the company comes out of this situation the world is in better and profitable, not just sat around talking about it..

Id like to think we can’t argue with what’s going to happen can we from now on:

flights “WILL” pick up, vaccines “WILL” happen, covid “WILL” Flatten, defence “WILL” always increase, new generation power systems “WILL” be ordered, nuclear systems “WILL” be developed

Totally agree and people forget RR isn’t just civil akro space, it’s a much much larger company than that sector with some areas Like defence not even touched by these issues

Absolute unbelievable this morning... that was clearly a good and upbeat trading update... warrants a 20p drop! I feel real rumours and Clear manipulation over the last few days with this..

Trent 1000 AOG is one thing that will be better than last time & Cash saving update will hopefully be positive... yes it’s not Going to knock your Socks Off but The market isn’t expecting extra ordinary results.. remember the big buys Friday, there at 265-675 region, If I was them I’d be looking for a better rise than just today, so to buy in just before really bad results doesn’t really Make Sense does it??

Going by the massive buys on Friday after the drop and leading into close, I’m going to say a hopeful raise tomorrow, I will struggle to understand a further drop when these big boys bought such large amounts on Friday at this price and Higher

Bloomberg reported the rumours at 9:40 eastern, bang on 2:40 U.K. to the minute when it first dropped...agreed With over reaction or should I say manipulated reaction, bounce up coming, wouldn’t surprise me For it to swing back to 3.50 fairly quickly

They don’t have to be Big long haul or commercial passenger carrying either, there will be a lot of Rolls engines on cargo planes such as with fedex (which never stopped really) and also smaller aircraft flying internally within countries, long haul is open now to the eastern world so only the states etc to go really :)

This is why I struggle to see it dropping much more as the buyers would have been able to wait & get in much cheaper...

Very strange day Friday, especially when the trading update is out Thursday which with them buys possibly indicates good news ... maybe the RNS was just a clever way of “going along” With the drop and
Actually Nothing is actually incorrect on the RNS, all be it may never happen
