You and others may not like my postings and may question my investments , but as far as I and others are concerned , I retired by the time I was 40, now 45 , have 9 children of which several are working in well paid jobs / returns on businesses , was 'badged' in the Parachute Regiment in the early 80's and served amongst others , went into successfull business for myself thereafter , retain significant investments in companies that I set up as a puppy , have held various directorships , all within ongoing companies , and still receive dividends whilst retaining significant stake holdings and influence. God help them , I hear you say , but it takes an ******** like me to see. I mentioned minimum wages the other day as being of issue. I am certain now that inflation will rise as a result as the 4% uplift as this will , combined with fuel , food costs , tax , etc , credit issues , etc , force inflation towards 5% over the next year. This in my mind will increase , not decrease, bank interst rates. Completely different from most peoples thoughts , that is why I am , what I am , an arse to my friends , but predictable , in many ways.

I am now asuming that your comment was directed at me. An extra 4 days activities will cost C.£20 a head per day , thats the canoeing , archery , hunting and paragliding and not including time for offroading , in a 7 seat V8 landrover that is mine and the speedboat/waterskiing , that is also mine that I would also throw in alongside the pick up and return to airport for six pepole. This would make a c.£285 per head trip with me throwing in existing wheels and running around for the enjoyment of being with 6 other like minded people. Should this go to anymore , ie. max 8 , then a full sized LWB minibus would be in the order , which I as I said , would be at my disposal but this would be hired at a cost of both rental and a kilometer charge that would , imo , not be worth it , but could be arranged and bring the price to c.£300 per head. As I would be throwing in a similar amount in cost just in fuel for running the group around , offroading with the V8 and playing with the straight six speed boat for 2 afternoons of fun , (There is also a great go-cart track round the corner and many other things). .. if I am creating a problem , if someone chooses to spend £300 elsewhere with other like minded people , so be it , but I think that it is a good idea , sorry if you doubt me.

..maybe it is time that he goes with the wind... In France he took an add out that took into play a photo of the french president and his , so called , glamour wife , they sued and got paid. Yes , Ryan Air have paid the fine of 50k or so and feel they got off with it to their favour , but whilst the £pound has dived , the french are also very proud and took this in bad taste.

..sorry to say , but I made a bundle on these shares when they dived and rised , but I can assure you all now , either he will sue the guys that rebundled his site or be closed down again....

Ryan Air recently closed their web booking site to revamp and meet trading standards... cost , reported £20m or so. I have just booked a flight and could not pay by HSBC maestro. Yes I have gold , platinum , etc , but you should not pay a charge via maestro. Ryan Air have a photo of maestro next to payment but do not have a drop down box to enable payment via such , therefor billing a charge. Whilst this may seem a little problem to some people , like me , of the millions of bookings , these charges add up. .. 20million bookings on line at an extra £1.50 or so = a fair shed. The point being that it was exactly this perpatrated form of charges that the OFT hit Ryan Air for. I know this guy is Irish and needs to feel that he needs to make a hidden buck before he does it with your wife , but come on , what a waste...

Ex Dividend today and still pulled up a 2.5% return on yesterday.

...all i could do is flag up and point out the negatives , it did drop to 249 , from 250 to 265 was an unexpected 6% return so I cashed it in by nature. Other Airlines are comming out with results next week so , imo , buy in now or wait a while , either way , there is not alot of downside, but 5% to me is what I aim for on a quick trade. For the long term , tuck in if you do not want such returns as there is there is no downside long term as BAY has , to me , an off the book value that is worth this price alone.

...in on BAY at a sugested 250 , also EZJ at 400. I think the Cathay Pacific results , rescent buy of a few slots at heathrow by a few yank airlines at an absurd price , share buy backs and subsequent upgrades underlines that airlines have bottomed out. I still retain a little hesitation to dive in , so cashed in as I am not greedy and will look to buy in again.

pull back from the lows on results , over done , the DOW being in play and reasonable dividend. Like HBOS , I think PSON will fall prior to ex div if market sentiment heads that way. Be nimble as profit take will also be in play on both stocks. For me , held overnight to see , but will have no problems in selling and buying in on a short if sentiment swings that way.

How about Thursday 24th April to Tuesday 29th April....Ryan Air Stansted 0605 Thursday arriving Montpellier 0900 leaving Montpellier 0925 Tuesday arriving Stansted 1035. £20 return but does not include baggage , etc , so if i booked a group of say 6 , I would guess less than c.£30 each for the return trip! Anymore than 6 then I would have to do the minibus thing and the speed boat is only licenced for 7 so 6 is a good figure for me otherwise costs would go up and in france u can only do 9 in total on the minibus anyway. This is a great area and lots to do after crunching co-ordinated share experiences from say 7.30am in the morning through till say 1230, hopefully co-ordinated. The 'moulin' or water mill is great lodgings and I am sure i can get a below tarrif deal , inc great food ,etc , looking at c.£35 per day or £175. That brings it to c.£205. Speedboat , I can throw in , that's 1 afternoon out the way.

I have chosen this board as no one has posted on it for over 18 months to discuss the possibility of organising an event for those peoples interested in comming along to a share discussion event that could be hosted by myself in Millau , France , as this board has not been used for over 18 months .... FatController , I'm very happy to keep the wine flowing in the evenings and and lunchtime , but promise to be on my best behavior. And yes, if you come along , I promise you can take my V8 Landrover over my favorite green lane course around the corner and take my straight six american (ex-bond) inboard speed boat out on our nearby lake with me watersking behind whilst drinking out of a magnum , seriously , how can u possibly say no.
