day trade A&l... it has moved from outside my top ten to killing zone.

If people sell at £10 they are saying that they are happy with the gain and do not see the share rising much further , day traders / CFD players take it a stage further and cash in and buy to sell. They have pledged to buy , more so than those that run away with a little cash in their back pocket. As a Day/CFD trader A&L ranks in my top ten plays on the days , so I do not ramp or diss this stock , but simply play on the back of what gives on this stock , which , has never let me down , dood luck , but if you guys want to ramp it or diss it , I will pick up on where you positioned it , love A&l and HBOS...

I am a trader , I expect this share to rise and fall , in line with recent play. Whether I buy in to long or short , I still buy in. People who diss day traders / CFD traders / shorting or longing / bear to bull ... get a life..

A short is infact a buy , I beleive that A&L is worthy of a short at 600 as I would wish to buy in at 540 , a price that I still beleive to be to high , but a price I am prepared to buy , having shorted that is...

A&L are amongst the little league of banks. Yes they can be bought out at any time , like the big boys can. In reality , A&L will be unlikely to make any sought of significant profit this year and the SP reflects only buy out hopes.

like your style monaco , no worries , should anything come up that you feel might be of interest please post as I am trying to find a good reason not to get into CTT for a short term punt. Goes ex-div 26/03 at 13.10 can't tell you the sp as IG markets have gone down on the screens , but I think it is c. 213 which would yield 6% or so , anyway I will keep an eye on to see if something screams avoid.. gl

...definately a good start to RTO's long awaited recovery by the removal of the old and in with a strong and well respected by the city management team. I like the incentive program being driven if the shares hit 120 to the new team. I had to sell too given the jump and there could well be further profit take but with a good divi in the pipeline ( hopefully that will not be changed ) and renewed leadership , could be the time to think about getting back on board if dips allow.

thanks for the post re gold... looks like the miners are in for a bashing from what the asian/aus markets have done...gold looks like could hit the 900 mark even sooner..

I sold my gold position but do not understand the gold market well enough to have braved a short..956 now , at this rate 900 could be as early as next week. I must take some time out to see what factors most effect the price of gold

I have a hydrogen project that produces enough gas from the size of an average pool filter at 12v , with a few electronic gismos and little water , nothing new , but , it is running.. to go where others have failed.... such has been tried and tested , but we are taking it to the next level. ...wow...so guess what , we do not need to sell it via aim , we will just do , the last laugh be on you..

I agree on a normal wicket , however , I think that with the US elections comming on in the fall , that the republicans will try to throw itself into a new war at the end of summer , imo and a shared view from my friends state side..

I also think that this run will continue due to the US financials posting further writedowns during the week , the last one on wednesday and that monday next , might prove time for a mini rally , but who knows ... gold now 1025....

if RBS goes sub 300 and LTSB sub 400 , I would have hit all my targets that I posted last night/first thing today ...

gold doing the 1020 bit , ftse pushing - 150 ish / DOW futures -210 ish ... new lows hitting , possibly a little day trade rally comming on , watch Aviva , it is my favorite day trade , it will rise and fall in line with what the FTSE is doing ... almost gauranteed.. 5% margin via IG markets , 1% commision now 555 ...

banks/financials ... also some nice defensive stocks slipping ...
