Any thoughts on where this might settle once all the small PIs find out what happened? I genuinely thought that it might have dropped further already. Personally I'm still going to ride this one out from the low teens and see what happens, dilution or not (we were all expecting this to be the only way since the FCA hate us...) ;)

Yep, I'm there too, Rico (as one of the small-fry brigade!) Not entirely sure where that leaves us...
Is there any mileage whatsoever to suggest that the JPM RNS was not a surprise to those in the know and the pricing therefore was basically already built in (even if this is the brokering side) ? Otherwise this is a rather bizarre morning.
I think the comments about long term holders make a lot of sense and that this won't necessarily make any difference to them. Some of us are just waiting for SOA2.0 and accept the risk that it could fold in the meantime so it hardly matters what happens until that point. Must admit, got a bit spooked at first read... but SP might as well say they bought another 20%!

More trolls... just what this board needs. I don't even understand why people like Hillybilly post here? Have you really got nothing better to do?
Don't forget everyone - Amigo actually forced all these people at gunpoint to take out loans. They had no free choice and didn't pick up the phone.. or email... or complete an application form... :/
Anyhow... Joking aside, personally i hoped the SOA would go through but didn't really think it would. I was really surprised the BoD suggested that they would go bust if not...but hey. I'm still in. I think it will come back with a revised position that will be approved. I can't see them letting it go under, but that's just me.
Great post LondonInvestor!
Very good (not)advice. :)
Happy to see so many in the same boat as me! I still believe it will come good, but this is based mainly on blind gut feel and hardly any experience or financial competence.
I will have a look at Cineworld. Bullsbears... I can imagine why that one might be a bit of fun ;)
Pick another stock.
This is one hell of a ride! Is there ANYTHING else out there on the market that would have been more of an education for a n00b PI first time investor? I can only assume not!
Remember Malpenn, we now live in a world where everyone is entitled to anything they might want, whether they can afford it or not (don't forget that they 'deserve' it too). Even worse, they do not have to take ANY responsibility for their own actions, their own decisions and the consequences they might bring.
All the Amigo haters on here seem to ignore that most people have a choice to take a service or not. And... once again.. why are these people even on a share chat board talking with people who are investing their cash as a risk, in hope of reward? It just makes zero sense.
My idiot small time newbie investor view on this is:
if you wanted to be in this for a while and see a very healthy return, just stick at it and remember that you could lose everything. As long as you won't lose your house/car/kids/partner over it... hang in there.
I don't think share price discussion boards talking about investments are a place for communists...... :)
I'm in the exact same boat as you. As an idiot - I say hold long term as long as you can afford to lose the cash if it goes badly.
The risk appears to be more than worth the return under those circumstances.
I got very nervous back at 6p... but the only thing it would have really hurt is my pride if it went bump!
I've been lurking on this board for probably almost a year now but this is my first post.
I feel like I almost know some of you guys having read so many of yours posts... and it's funny to see the same old characters turn up and disappear from time to time when things are on the up... or down.
I'm 5,479 @ 13.45p
I'm pretty much a first time investor and got in when it was on the way down with all the JB fiasco, but I always felt it would come good. Plan on holding for the long term. Tend to have the google tracker on my 2nd screen most days at the moment when I'm working!
I honestly can't tell you how much I've learnt from this board... and so far... it's been one hell of a rollercoaster ride!
