This will not be taken out at 17p, directors and JW himself recently have stock higher than that. Furthermore, why would existing LTH institutional holders relinquish stock at that level and any takeover would require thi stock.

I'm sure if it was dry we would know sooner and by now. The longer this goes on, the more promising the discovery.

And in the meantime we are printing cash.

They can then deliver a further reserves update. I've never been so optimistic about the prospects of one of my stocks. Always bumps in the road but this journey looks very exciting indeed.

However, once the drill bit has started, delays would only be brought about failures/issues of some description which would take us over and above the time frame stated. I would have thought this would require reporting.

Had thought last week that the reserves update was a sweetener to negative drilling news that was about to drop. However, two things spring to mind, if negative then realistically they would have held the reserves news till after to sure things up. Secondly, we are now circa 37-39 days since the spud which is too long if the well was dry, I suggest it's merely a matter of appraising how much and how connected. News should come by Wed, but can't help thinking Monday morning will unveil what we are hoping for.

I wonder what average they sold, probably on anticipation of the retrace? They maybe hoped to re join the party at lower levels given the substantial share gain from 9p. If so, a 12m buyback would help very nicely.

That's a very good point indeed and makes a great deal of sense. Spread being kept wide this morning, once the ask is dropped I can see a pickup in buys......on balance of expectation of Monday news I would want a position before the weekend

Mm's have got this at the moment.......trade the facts people and don't let go of shares that are clearly undervalued because of this short term drip down effect. Classic PI trading and why most investors lose money!

Not unexpected, however, the next piece of the jigsaw is about to be placed, if it fits and JW expects it to based on the seismic appraisal of the structure, then we will be on the move again. Sit on your investment, the potential upside is tremendous. The last three months news flow indicates our intentions, this has not just come about through luck, but through a very structured and measured strategy from the board over the last few years. The intuitive timing from the board during difficult parts of the cycle are paying off. It's as about as exciting as business can be.....enjoy the ride.

Imho I think that somebody or some entity is building a stake in Amerisur. It would not surprise me if a notification comes in during the 1st quarter. So many large trades going through at 17p over the last few weeks.

Seemingly an endless supply at 17p!

The longer we are held here, the more the SP will react to any positive news. Stakebuilding going on in the background, yesterday was an example, although nothing significant enough to warrant an RNS. Institutions sitting tight and it appears PI's are too. It's a further confirmation of improving fundamentals that will move us on and there is enough activity in the next year to hopefully back up and confirm JW's excitement and game changing expectation for Amerisur. Patience required for a little longer, q1 should set the stall out for what is believed to be a transformational year.

It's building nicely. No sellers left at this level, Mm's need a new strategy, yesterday's raid was the start.

They They have been on a jolly, mopped up a lot of automatic trades. Short of stock maybe with announcement due?!

I'm sure my fiddling around for a few percent will have seemed like wasted energy in due course. I hope for all of us that we get a share price that truly reflects the potential this cracking little company has.

Quite sure that many will have skimmed and waited for what they perceive is the bottom of the expected retrace. Very happy with my position.

I think it's about ready to move again.
