I don't agree, it's an opportunity they are taking with self funding. For such a small Company they are financially very strong and they have enough assets already to explore without taking something else on that would place constraints. It's strategic, another piece of the puzzle for when they sell out.

Its definitely out there......since last Thursday, the number of large trades going through has increased significantly. Supply and demand has the price at 17p.....just cannot work out the signal, although it does feel like 'mates rates' are being given prior to RNS. Still think on balance the news will be positive.

Looks like MM's are trying to mark it up but it appears to be More twitchy than a whores draws!

We are at day 46, that's more than enough time to realise a dry well and announce to shareholders. We must have oil and I can't help thinking something more fundamental going on behind the scenes.

I suspect these trades going through at 17p are instructions from yesterday that have now been facilitated, hence why we have got through the 17p. If these were sells, the bid would have been battered by now.

Juggle drums are almost certainly beating, started yesterday and beginning to accelerate.

The majority are AT, stock being freed up, large buys coming.

I've put some decent buys through in the last hour......none being shown!! Bid above 17p finally.....something in the air.

I would hazard a guess it's just beginning to leak.

Some significant trades starting, the AT's are there to facilitate these and keep the books balanced. Feels like 17p might be about to be breached if this continues.

I can understand how they can close the loop on boardroom deals, however drilling results are much harder. Uptick in trading, particularly sizeable trades which have all but gone, will pre empty the result. Clearly not there yet looking at the volumes, keep your eyes peeled.

JW stated they had more than enough acreage to work with and exploit for now. As such, I don't see them bidding for anything further and potentially stretching there current strong financial position and certainly not a rights issue. We do of course have jewels in the crown that could ultimately bring about a takeover approach, however, for this reason, a price well beyond current levels will be required to wrestle shares from the institutions to facilitate this.
