On the question of NPV then there’s an article from 2011. With £6.7bn of shares held in treasury I think it would be more straightforward to do a 3:1 share swap rather than use money that could be earmarked for other things. Let’s face it at say £500m it’s only pocket change for Glen. They then could sell the asset for $bn’s.

Yes there was a clause but it’s long since expired.

I’d be happy for GLEN to buy us out with some of their shares held in their treasury (2:1, 3:1) to then flip the project as the sole owner.

It’s crazy to think that we might just be waiting on Glencore receiving a viable offer.

Glencore have been selling off a number of assets over recent months. They obviously don’t want to mine Zanaga so they might as well see their share and ours at the same time.

After all it may help with their legal costs this year.
