President Nguesso has been magic carpeted across Africa this past week, and finally airlifted into Dubai by the Saudi Prince's super luxurious 777LR. The President passed up the AU trip to Kiev and St Petersberg, alongside Ramaphosa and others, to make it to Dubai.

If you ask me the Saudis loaned him the jet to make sure that he ended up in the right place at the right time!

Back in April Nguesso's son revealed on his LinkedIn that the President would sign the AD Ports concession for Pointe Noire ports (plural) 'when next in the UAE'.

Well - that's now, curtesy of that $500m Saudi royal jet.

The president of the UAE and emir of Abu Dhabi, MBZ, is expected back in Abu Dhabi this Sunday, and AD Ports offices will be open on Monday morning......Let's see.

Yes not sure I’ve seen that before, certainly with those figures attached.

The way I see it is that they are already exporting that, where AD Ports come in is to develop the port to get the $3bn -$5bn pa of iron ore out of the country.

FWIW I don’t think we’ll be around to worry about this. I think your previous comment about a conglomerate of organisations/countries/BRICS is about to pick up a once stranded iron ore asset!!!
