Just throwing it out there. If UBS are persistently trading or shorting the share, is there any reason why employees armed with insider knowledge might not regularly post on this chat forum? I am on a 7 day curfew so mentioning no names… imho

@MaxJH Unfortunately if you ignore them then the board fills up with their lies and misinformation. A bit like Trump on Truth Social. Unless people call them out for their bullsh*t, people will start to believe the lies. Appreciate it’s frustrating and annoying to you, but not as annoying as reading repetitive attempts to misguide investors, who may be new here and looking to invest in Capita. Apologies if it offends you.

I decided to go straight to Helen Parris (Director of Investor Relations at Capita) and asked her about UBS’s recent activity. This was her instant response:

“They are a prime broker which means they are a trader but may also own shares on their own “book”. They often act as a counterparty for institutional shareholders who use derivatives to trade in Capita shares. The derivative trades could be long or short positions. As a prime broker they are only required to disclose holdings above 5% hence the announcements are when they go above or below that threshold.”

I wonder why this didn’t warrant an RNS. Yet another great renewal showing Capita is continuing to deliver. Plus we all know business retention is more profitable than trying to win new business 🥳

The four-year renewal kicks off in January. "The renewed agreement reflects Capita's strategic focus on operational efficiency, and artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Capita secures three-year extension to BBC TV Licensing contract

Capita plc (“Capita”) today announces that it has secured a three-year extension to its contract with the British Broadcasting Corporation (“BBC”) for the administration of TV Licensing in the UK.

The extension, which will commence in July 2027, builds on Capita’s longstanding partnership with the BBC and reflects both parties’ commitment to service continuity and operational excellence.

Under the terms of the extension, Capita will continue to deliver TV Licensing services, focusing on driving operational efficiencies.

@Trisor is correct. They have probably sold another small chunk of their holding, and because it is now below 5%, they are not obliged to reveal any additional details.

@Simpiles I agree that Savage is a disgruntled ex-employee of Capita. My sources in the city say he was the office gimp and was let out of his leather box when they were celebrating new contract wins. He lost his job to Aim during the restructure and now performs his circus act for 20p per post 😉🤡

Keyboard you are a downright w*nker. If you were really on a learning process, you’d be posting on many many board but two thirds of your posts this month have been on capita and most of the rest on some crappy stock I’ve never heard of .

I think you are a prick or affiliated to a company that is. Others just think you are a loon. The success of Capita is of great importance to many here. You, on the other hand, appear when there is a drop in the SP or there is bad news. Not once have I heard you mention Capita ‘s efforts to turnaround the ship in a positive manner. No positivity whatsoever. You clearly have a far darker agenda and you say you are not invested.

Suggest we stop replying to posts by the resident clowns and just start a new thread when you respond. Otherwise the lies and misinformation written in the Subject line continues to be spread. Looks like all their hard work today deramping the share has been utterly pointless 😂😂

@Smartinvestment I already hold £20k of ITX which accounts for 10% of my portfolio. Tempted to add more but I have held for over 3 years now. If that money had stayed in funds, I would have made £10k by now so I hope this at least triple bags from here. GLA
