Thought I'd have a quick look back on this forum to see if things had improved with people discussing meaningful arguments for and against EVR, any news etc but no; the usual childish crap. I'm long here and have been for some time. I'm optimistic but don't want to live in a echo chamber where any opposing view is pounced on as deramping. It's good to hear the other side of the argument and the more info we all have the better decisions we can make.
I was just about to post this. A great reason for people to "go" to a concert through Melody.
Almost seems inevitable as they'll need to raise cash at the rate it's currently being spent. That said, if the 02 deal proves popular and helps promote the app to customer's friends etc we could be suprised by the figures next update (in a good way!)
I doubled down at last. Real skin in the game now. :D
The subscription model is something that's been mentioned on here in the past before it was confirmed yesterday and I do think it's a good way to go. My main concern now is that EVRH are burning through so much cash so quickly that they'll run into problems long before things are established.
Haha but they've been well paid for their trouble so at least they're ok.
I've said it a few times now but thank God I avoided averaging down over the last year or so.
Alot of hate for shorters on these boards and the others. I get that they are out there to make money at our expense but I've never seen them as the enemy. It takes a huge amount of conviction to open short positions as (obviously) their potential losses far outweigh ours. I know exactly how much money I stand to lose if EVR were to collapse. Shorters can't say the same. Even the recent short attack on Burford, whilst I believe is unfounded, doesn't mean I'll dismiss what they say. Muddy Water's not only face the risk of big losses but their reputation too.
I've always thought it best to see both sides of the argument when it comes to investing.
That being said I'm still optimistic for EVR's future, it's just a matter of waiting for things to develop. Good luck all! (Except the shorters ha)
I know it's a pointless exercise but I often wonder what this company would be trading at if we were a US company. Their valuations tend to be absolutely ridiculous at times. We've had a string of good news and some strong publicity with the recent show, be nice to have the share price reflect it soon. I've only got a modest amount of shares in here so I'll be here for the long term whatever the outcome; just hope patience is rewarded for us all.
I just tried to connect and having no luck. 2 ways of looking at it: There's a lot of demand which is great...or MVR just wasted an amazing opportunity to showcase their app.
Yes, just had a look at the reviews and they're not great. I think people are going to be reluctant to hand over money to watch these vids when the quality isn't where it could be.
Great to see them take this stance against MW. IQE should've done the same when they came under attack.
Well it was worth a punt. Feel sorry for those who have put serious money into this. Really let down by management.
Ha let's hope!
Doesn't appear to be any interest in this at these levels. Management must be aware that this isn't good, even if they claim to "not care"

Careful guys, you'll be reported for "deramping" at this rate. Some people on here are a bit sensitive to people having different opinions to their own.
Long*
All about timescales I suppose. I'm Lomb term but if I bought yesterday and saw a 12% move up and the chance to bank some profits, why not?
