The independent directors want nearer 800p a share and the share price is already above the indicative offer." Settled back to £7.00 ( offer price ) I can see this rising again so worth a punt at £7 IMO.

Only trades in the last 2 days over £1k in value are buys. Having said that trading is quiet.

This is looking very buyable at 12p....might just go a little lower, so just on my watchlist for now.

I thought LLOY was taking a beating, but this fall is crazeeeeeee!

Aithough a take over is on the cards with hopefully a premium to today's sp, there is very little interest here. I bought and topped up below 5p as they had cash and assets well above the mc. There seemed to be a lack of drive from the existing board and a take over seemed to be the best way forward. I believe there were at least two interested parties and we may yet see a bidding war. There are few posters on this board, which is a shame as a couple of clued up more knowledgeable investors posting here would not go amiss. With all the share fallers around it is nice to have a steady share like this in my portfolio. Perhaps on another day we may have seen a staedy rise and more buying, who knows. I don't think it is too late to have a punt if you can buy at just over 5p. ---------------MaO----------------

A couple of buys now for 100k shares @ 5.25p & 5.3p, IMO offer would have to be in the range of 7.5p - 10p for the assets and goodwill. It could be much higher, depends whether the other bidder wants the company more tham Mission do. Would like to see an offer price!

Getting serious-------------- Receipt of notice to requisition General Meeting The Board of D1 Oils received yesterday notice from Evo Nominees Limited, being the registered holders of 26,473,330 shares in the Company (approximately 20.9% of those in issue) pursuant to section 303 of the Companies Act 2006. Accordingly, the Board is required within 21 days from receipt of this requisition to send to shareholders a notice convening a general meeting (with special notice) to be held not more than 28 days from the issue of the notice convening the meeting, to vote on the resolutions (the "Resolutions") provided by Evo Nominees Limited. The Resolutions will propose that all the Directors of D1 Oils save for Nicholas Ward be removed and that two new directors proposed by Evo Nominees Limited (who are, inter alia, directors of Principle Capital Holdings S.A.) be appointed. On Thursday 6 May, the Board made an offer period and strategic financing update announcement which contained, inter alia, the following: "...the Board of D1 Oils can confirm that offer discussions have progressed to the extent that two parties (having already provided indicative offer letters to the Company) have indicated that they may, subject to due diligence, make offers for the Company in each case at a substantial premium to the current share pr ice (in one case wholly in cash and in the other in new listed shares of that potential offeror).
