The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
In case you missed it....
Last year, as ThenShen, Longerwait recommended that everybody should invest in crypto. He lost his shirt, changed his name to hide his losses and after his time in rehab reinvented himself as Longerwait and now thinks Barryroe and Lansdowne are defunct.
While he now has nothing we still have something. One up to us I think.
Remind us again why you as TheShen vanished up your rear end.
Oh, you don't need to. It was because you lost your proverbials on crypto and you decided to vanish when it became clear what an id**t you were.
And now you are back until the Vevan deal is announced as you wallow in your own pity.
Will you vanish again when you are proven to be the clown prince of the crypto.
That was probably the nerd who keeps repeating himself on here and on the Lansdowne board.
Remember, he was on here (and there) last year under a different name where he told us all to invest in crypto and then lost his shirt so to vanish he requested LSE to remove his name and all his posts and he then disappeared, probably as you suggest to having a straight jacket on him so that he could not post any more of the gibberish he has now come back to post.
Can you imagine anybody getting up in the middle of the night to post the rubbish he does? Must have a screw (or two) loose.
I don't remember his name from last year. Can anybody remember what it was?
I love the fact that Longtail ass keeps referencing me.
That shows I get under his skin which is so easy with an ass like him.
As I said before "repetition is the mother of f**ls and in him we have a right one. On the other hand he probably thinks he was an immaculate conception as I am sure nobody would want an offspring like that.
Did you actually read the report on the Rosebank proposal?
First of all, the field is less in size than Barryroe.
The company developing the oil field is Norwegeian.
Thirdly, it states that it will produce crude oil which will be exported to Europe (no specific location) for refining and then reimported into the UK and elsewhere. So it will either be piped to probably Norway or shipped to somwhere else at great cost. So where are the UK guarantees in that?
Barryroe is abigger field and any oil produced will be refined in Whitegate, so it remains in Ireland from start to finish.
So which is the better deal? Barryroe of course.
Read before opening your big fat mouth in future.
Better being a "donkey" than an Ass like you.
Keep neighing and making us laugh at your stupidity.
They are obviously still working on the deal and we were told it was near completion. The day it is announced we will all be laughing as we watch you vanish as we figuratively kick your "Ass".
Longer- anal-retentive is the epitome of the expression "Repetitio est mater stultorum"
Which translates as "Repetition is the mother of fools".
Sound familiar?
You don't bug anything out of me. You are my entertainment for the day. You are like Pinocchio with your nose growing longer with every lie you tell. And the longer it grows the more I laugh.
Do you write at that hour because you have to get up many times during the night to have a whizz? Probably, but that can be treated. Cranberry, I am told is a good remedy.
I can also write BB messages at ungodly hours of the morning also because I can but at that time of the day/night I am sleeping the sleep of the just while you are there with mental aberrations as your inner self keeps you awake as you cry into your pillow saying "Why did I ever invest in those crypto shares?" as you flagellate yourself for being the a**hole you are.
So, please keep amusing me as I love a loser as he cries into his spilt .....
And please note I don't have to point out what an a**hole you are because you do that all by yourself.
Have a nice day.
Can you explain again for us how and why you removed yourself from this BB last year after you lost all your money on crypto and why and how you reinvented yourself as Longerwait.
And, by the way, remind us of what you called yourself last year.
I wonder if this is how Longerxxx lost all his money?

Thank you Longert*t for confirming you were the a**hole who spent all last year on here boasting of how you made a killing on crypto. Up to now I was giving you an inkling that you were not that nerd but now you have proven you were and you have learned nothing in the meantime.
Two mistakes you made. First, thank you for pointing out that I made a fortune from Providence Resources because I was in Atlantic from day one and at its hayday Providence went to £5 after the 100:1 consolidation and then after O'Reilly's stupidity went to nearly nothing in 2015 when they went back to nearly nothing so I bought a bucket load of Providence and Lansdowne for peanuts which I still have and I wait for the "second coming" when once more I will be in "X" profits.
And yes, I invested my profits in property but also in house builders as per the "famous" Blinkx competition which I won hands down by picking Barrett and Taylor Wimpey.
So thank your for blowing my trumpet for me as I am reluctant to blow my own.
The other mistake you made is to ignore the recent statement that the deal with Vevan has been accepted and will be announced in due course. It could be this afternoon at 2.00pm or it could be tomorrow or even some other day this week. But it will be announced in due course.
And, irrespective of the terms, it will still have to be decided by the stock holders, like my self, but not by you who lost all his money on crypto. And, if the terms are acceptable you will vanish like you did when you lost all just like the oozlum bird who vanished up his own rear end by flying, as you do, backwards in ever decreasing circles. Your circles are getting smaller by the day.
Why do people continue to respond to Longert*t. That is exactly what he wants.
Obviously, he either lives in some "strange" land or he suffers from insomnia (probably cursing his investment in crypto), or he is in jail as he posts at some ungodly hour in the morning, note "4.50" today and something similar on other days. And, in the past his "alter ego" used to post at similar times.
So, either ask him about his abortive crypto deals or just ignore him.
In the meantime, the following article is in today's Irish Independent.

Would expect an RNS on Monday morning which will give a week of stock exchange activity .
Will also need to set a date for the EGM to vote on the decision.
Would be pointless to issue that info on a Friday as nothing can be done over the weekend.
Look forward to hearing some good news on Monday morning.
This looks like a precursor to some part of the Vevan deal with Barryroe.
Technically, Lansdowne is now up for sale so it may be incorporated as a sub-company to Vevan so that it can still claim the $100m under the ECT treaty. After all Vevan has a number of UK companies under its wing.
All will be revealed when Larry speaks.
I don't think it was Bitcoin he was recommending but something even shadier.
Perhaps he could refresh us on his "recommendation"?
As for LOGP, I don't think there can be any further movement on their appeal until the Barryroe deal with Vevan is decided. If we like it and it is approved then the Lansdowne terms of reference will just return to their 20% equity in Barryroe.
Hopefully we will know the Vevan deal in the near future and if Ryan dares to kibosh it, the Lansdowne demand is a good fallback.
Reported in the Irish Times this morning.

It's like the famous old saying, "They would say that, wouldn't they".
I see Boldy said "they left it to the last minute when they had three months to discuss it".
Longerwait is the same a/h who spent his time on here last year criticising everybody else while he recommended cryptocurrency to all as he lost his b*lls on it. He then cancelled his entry, waited a while and has now, in the last three months, put his head above the parapet once more. Just ignore him until he gets his comeuppance when he will vanish like the ooslum bird, up his own rear end.
Crytocurrency or Barryroe? Take your pick. He did and lost.
And by the way, back in one of his bb entries of wisdom he quoted the message Barryroe received from the minister as follows:
"This assessment has concluded that from a technical perspective the Barryroe Lease Undertaking application is satisfactory for the purpose of Section 3 of the 2007 Licensing Terms and that the technical capability of the Applicants is satisfactory for the purpose of Section 9(A) of the Act of 1960."
So, the only reason Ryan tried to squash Barryroe was lack of funding. Now Barryroe has access to billions through Larry Goodman which sticks the refusal or Ryan up where the sun never shines.
I expect we will see Longerwait vanish up a similar place next week.
In 2022 Barryroe put in a request to extend the license on Barryroe. Under normal circumstances the minister would give an extension as per the rules for oil exploration in Ireland. In doing so Barryroe complied with all the requirements for the extension to be extended and there is plenty of precedent for such extensions being granted.
Six months report "(Lease Undertaking application under consideration)"
Just because Ryan failed to grant the extension means nothing as Barryroe has been paying fees for over ten years and there are numerous precedents for such extensions being granted.
So that will be a court case in its own right or even a judicial review.
All fun and games.
Unless Larry develops Barryroe he will have to compensate both Lansdowne and San Leon.
Lansdowne has 20% of Barryroe and San Leon has 4.5% nett profit.
Assume there is 300m barrels of oil in Barryroe at a price of $75 a barrel and a cost of $25 a barrel giving a profit per barrel of $50 that equates to about $3billion to Lansdowne and about $67.5m to San Leon over the lifetime of the field .
So a deal for Larry on Barryroe will not be straight forward and it will be interesting to see how it is handled especially if he just ignored Barryroe and went for a "green energy" solution. What happens, then, to Lansdowne's and San Leon's claums?
I presume any deal that comes out will be voted for at an EGM.
Since that would require an agreement of 70% of the shareholders and there are at least 30% of the shares held by major institutional shareholders other than Larry he will have to put a deal that suits them or they will just vote against the deal. If there is nothing in it for them why hand it to Larry?
And since there are also two other possible deals on the table it has to have some viability with the shareholders as the alternative will be to vote against Larry's at which point the examiner will have to consider one or other of the two "approaches " as alternatives.
So Larry has to come up with a reasonable deal that has consideration for all of the other parties including the normal shareholders.
The fact lady is not singing yet. Looking forward to hearing her tune next week.
