Yep, long time ago. Brings home how long Ive been here 😖 I remember one issue was they had built the power station on top of the coal seam. 😂

The government would conduct a feasibility study before undertaking the open pit mining method instead of the current underground mining.”

Phulbari is the only mine which has had the full feasibility study done. It would take years & years just to get to the same stage with the others. We know 😂

Obviously Bara is ongoing as an underground mine. The Bara seam does run into the Phulbari one & there was a plan once upon a time of mining them together, backfilling into Bara. There was even an open pit pilot plan for Bara, can’t remember what happened to that. Searcher may remember though

I think it’s clear that the players are hoovering up surplus stock. Bearing in mind the trading activity & the developments over the last few weeks.

The rise is certainly being controlled well

Do you know what the timescale to first commercial coal is following a successful SoD approval please?

Likewise whats the timescale to full ramp up?
