So much for the buyout rumours. As a 10% SPO holder, PTEC obviously didn't fancy going another round with HMRC.

Well we spiked this morning on good news, that being JP Morgan's communication of an overweight status and target of 800p for PTEC, we spiked in contrast to the indices which were down from the start. (you can see JPM's target for yourself using the broker ratings button above) Then we were walked down on comparative low volume as the FTSE250 took a bigger wobble. Believe it or not at +0.23% PTEC is actually the 23rd best performing stock in the FTSE250 today, so top 10% percentile. I think we've done well and the fight back into the close is inspiring.

What a difference a few hours can make!

I have noticed the end of day UT is higher than the closing price, and for a decent amount of volume. A good chunk of the days volume is during the end of day auction, at the high(er) price.

New JV's really starting to shine through for casino & sports and indicative that management mean what they say when talking about CY2013 as a continuation of CY2012 in terms of growth and performance. No mention of a special divi but d'you know what? -I ain't even mad.

Never written in stone that a stock falls on ex-divi day. Good performance by PTEC today considering the €0.15 divi. The company will announce an exchange rate on the 26th for those who elect to have their divi in GBP. Good luck everyone for tomorrow morning. I've given my keyboard a clean recently and ow the cursor can jump back into a sentence as I type. Yes, of course I meant shareholders. They are: Brickington Trading Limited (Mr. Sagi) -49.3% BlackRock Investment Management -5.4% Capital -4.9% Greenlight Capital -3.8% Fidelity -3.6% Interexpo Trading Limited -3.0% This translates to two things: i.) 70% of the float is tightly held ii.) It's easy for PTEC to gauge and then plan for a special divi. A well run tight ship like PTEC already know what they're doing. Can we really consider that £424m hit their account yesterday with a big question mark attached to it. -I don't think so.

I'm hoping the special divi will be announced the IMS next week. PTEC have the money now, and of course they already know what they're going to do with it. There are only 6 major share to ask, and they answer for 70% of the float. It's just a case of updating the market.

Immediate rational: Annual CGT sellers are walking it down In a few weeks time PTEC will be paying out a years worth of earnable bank interest in annual divi There's a special divi coming on top of that This down turn in the indices won't last (long) into FY14 as suggested by the DOW's performance makes a change for the FTSE not to simply perform as a DOW tracker, but not a nice change this time! ...not to mention imminent US news (?) & the IMS at the end of this month (25th).

FTSE100 sounds good to me. I hope they can make it happen at some point. CGT positioning today / tomorrow methinks. Here's to a strong FY14 start next week hopefully.

Yes, a big say. He'd have been the first investor to see on the roadshow management are doing / have done to collect shareholder feedback. Mr. Sagi likes money & power. He's going to like the idea of grabbing headlines regarding a mega payout. It show him and his company in the right light. The market is expecting a special divi and it's going to get one. The only variable is how much.

If Mr. Sagi is in line for a £200m special divi, that's £1.39 a share. I don't see it. They're not going to give nearly all the WHO cash back to shareholders, surely?

Panmure Gordon just raised target from 627p to 722p. They rate as a buy.
