BOE Gets Solid Demand in Bond Sale Despite UK Market Woes

Sale of £750 million of APF gilts 2.24 times oversubscribed

Central bank under pressure after yield surge over past week

The Bank of England successfully sold £750 million ($911 million) of gilts despite a recent market selloff that has prompted calls for it to pause its quantitative-tightening program.

The auction was 2.24 times oversubscribed on Monday afternoon, only slightly below the 2.66 average cover ratio for short-dated bonds since the start of last year. It suggests demand for securities sold by the BOE is holding up in the face of a sharp rise in government borrowing costs over the last week.

PSN is now trading at extremely lowball valuations based on fundamentals, especially when reviewing price to book ratio of homebuilders here (many reporting this week starting with PSN), PE, Dividend……..etc, time to buy is when others are fearful, tomorrow should be a much better day IMHO, and we might even get a decent short squeeze on our hands, we will find out soon!

Let’s see if the UK government keeps it’s promise of 1.5 million new homes, PSN has the largest available plots of land and will benefit the most accordingly.

Volume picking up here with now some very large Buys going through, and all before tomorrow with PSN being the very first UK homebuilder with its trading update this week!

While the UK Pound is rapidly weakening against the US dollar and at same time, O&G prices are fast rising, undervalued HBR here is the by far best place to be positioned IMO.

Fair sp should at the very least here be over 360p today, it will be back above 350+ in no time IMO while also providing excellent dividends.

Some big purchases are now going through, well oversold here at the moment, expecting a big bounce back up as the day progresses.

Upside potential here now by far exceeds any further downside risks, valuation looks incredibly attractive, and results next week should significantly change sp direction going forward.

BME - Now Clearly One of the most Oversold/Undervalued FTSE Shares here based on fundamentals, and that’s markets providing a unique opportunities, so I’m in for the medium to long term!

HBR share price should already be much higher than £3+ here while now trend for O&G prices is clearly bullish which along with a rapidly weakening £GBP (leading to higher $USD denominated dividends) are all excellent news for HBR!

Historically, interest rates were very much higher during 70s, 80s, 90s,….and people were still buying homes, it’s a basic need, PSN share price looks clearly oversold at the moment but that’s markets!

Bought in here today, will buy more if SP still drops (which I somehow doubt from these levels!), it’s just crazy cheap here based on fundamentals, additional bonus is also the great dividend yield along with a very attractive present PE, just another opportunity provided by the markets me thinks, time will only tell!

Andrada Mining story stacks up as optimisation improves, says broker

Andrada Mining Ltd (AIM:ATM, OTC:AFTTF) is a buying opportunity after today’s trading update, according to analysts at broker Berenberg.

Results were a mixed bag, said the broker, with tin production of 232t below the broker’s expectation of 285t as ore processed and grades undershot, but recoveries improved.

Management added that ore processed during the period was impacted by increased maintenance on the crushing section of the plant, while feed grade was lower due to the processing of blended ore.

Berenberg added it was a challenging quarter for Andrada, but the effort to improve plant efficiency should result in a better performance in the current three months.

The broker has a target price of 11p, adding that management remains focused on reducing its operational costs while strengthening the economic fundamentals of its tin operations, but this is reliant on operational delivery.

“We are constructive on the Andrada story and expect a buying opportunity if the shares experience softness today. The stock is trading on 0.23 times NAV and we maintain our buy rating."

Shares today were down 0.24p at 2.18p.

Let’s also not forget global gas prices at YTD highs which can only go up further when looking at AI & Crypto usage going forward, HBR now has an excellent portfolio for organic growth and is clearly very very much undervalued at the moment while providing an outstanding dividend yield!

Because it’s likely about to move up north, possibly even turn blue by close of day!

PETS - £3+ Coming here, and lot sooner than some may currently expect, Short Squeeze now inevitable!

Upside potential here now by far outweighs any downside risks and IMHO, 300p+ will be here lot sooner than some may currently expect, GLA!

Now a no brainer here, no wonder the CEO has started to load up! PETS is now clearly way too oversold/undervalued at these extreme lowball levels based on current fundamentals, a fairly decent rebound rally should be on the cards as we close in towards the year end, overall, nice opportunity to buy and hold for the medium to longer IMHO.

@breakofdawn, thanks for that, watched it plus been doing some detailed research here, and certainly feels like the sell off here is overdone, so hopefully due a decent new year (and beyond) rally here in coming days/weeks ahead, GLA!
