I understand that JP is all about getting it right and not worried about the timing of the LE but are there not external time constraints that may force our hand - thinking of the 2021 date that is looming?
Exploration - god to hear your take on this. So would you consider the that the "well financed, competent operator" is already in place? Where does the (well discussed) 20" pipeline come in to play? Do you still think the LE by Q1 2019 still achievable?
On Monday should prove interesting. Would like to see James et al answer the genuine queries we all have and not side-step. The majority of questions have legitimacy and should be answered truthfully, where possible. Not sure what SOU can do to prevent PI's selling shares if they so wish, but would like reassurance that we are on track as promised and that all is not in vain. What are the odds of the full CPR and/or GSA being released Monday AM?
Havenoidea - didn't you get out on Tuesday? "Personal circumstance dictated my decision to cash in which I will not go into.... I was in at 13p years ago, but have found that it has just taken too long to get a greater return that I desperately needed. Hope it works out well for you all. Best Regards Pat." But you still don't know what a GSA is?
I agree Keeptofacts - whilst I am not happy with the SP as is, everything being discussed on this board is pure conjecture - not one of us has the inside track on this. Therefore, if the fundamentals have not changed and no bad news has been released then this price suppression can be attributed to a complete lack of news (not uncommon) and the release and subsequent selling of Continentals shares, for whatever reason, as well as boredom/trading. Bottom line is, if any one person feels that their ROCE at LE will be adequate then hold, if not then sell at whatever price point suits. Hopefully questions will be answered tonight and at the next FSC following which we should let JP and the team get on with the job.
