GF,
With regard to losses, have a look on page 50 of the CMD Presentation. There is a table there showing 'Reservoir
Characteristics below local structural closure' for Lancaster, Warwick and Lincoln. 'Major losses' were ticked up for both Lancaster and Lincoln, but not for Warwick.
I hope this is what you were searching for to give some reassurance wrt open fractures. Hope so anyway. ATB

No probs JayKay1, we are all here to help each other (well, most of us anyway)
;o)
Top man Red. Your return to the board is welcomed by all I'm sure (even by those who were quick to judge and ridicule you). ATB

Spot on Red. I believe a few outspoken people on here owe you an apology! ATB.
Current Brent Crude price is $58.69 so assuming 450k barrels as per Red's best guestimate we have another $26.4million more in the coffers!!! The money is piling up now. ATBLTH's.
Anyone care to guess when a flare is expected/likely to be seen?
Red's "guess" was spot on with the offload, and looking forward to get the 450k confirmed. I also hope LC stands for 'loads of cash' as a recent poster hoped for.
It would be nice to get RSN tomorrow just to acknowledge to the market that we have bagged our first million barrels and that the Lancaster well continues to outperform. ATBLTH's
Foresight22,
'Reservoir Engineer' quite right!
Anyway, thanks for your response, it all makes sense now. I knew there would be a good reason. ATB.
A question for our resident Geophysicists: If the two Lancaster wells are acting as 'one' due to their close proximity and almost instantaneous communication , could this have a bearing on Hur's current ramp up of oil extraction so as not to precipitate early water breakthrough?
If they are effectively acting as 'one' does that not imply that Hur are actually flowing oil double the rate what they intended, especially if the flowing fractures are located close to the start of the longitudinal sections.
I'm sure Dr T has considered this pretty carefully which is why he has not altered the planned extraction programme, but it is something which I cannot remember being discussed on this board (but happy to be corrected).
If the horizontal wells are open hole, is it possible to know which of the large fractures along the run are flowing?
ATBLTH's
Great news Amaja! :-) ATB
OOPS $22million (not £'s)
Another £22million (at least) into the coffers!

In answer to one of the latter questions at CMD on this issue Dr T stated that further refinement of the fracture modelling is to be carried out, so if they conclude that the major fractures tie in with their initial modelling, your theory WM , could be spot on. I look forward to hearing the likely conclusions from Dr T/ Spirit. I am sure they are trying to get to the bottom of this conundrum for obvious reasons.
With respect to Lincoln, it is somewhat reassuring that there were significant losses of drilling fluid during the drilling (equivalent to 30K barrels), so no tight holes here! ATB
WM,
Very perceptive! great lateral thinking, as a keen veg grower I can see where you are coming from, makes sense. Great analogy, I would suggest you forward your theory to Dr T. ATB.
What also struck me is that Dr T stated that he would inform the market straight away by RNS if the Lancaster wells were not performing in line with guidance, so we can assume that for each month that passes without comment the wells are bringing in the bacon and we don't need to wait for 6/12 months to find out if there is an issue.
Fingers crossed. ATBLTH's

"Not me. I thought the guy was an idiot and you could see RT’s exasperation".
My sentiments entirely.
Also, who cares if a presentation is slick or not, I thought he did brilliantly and anyway its the content that matters and having watched the presentation twice it has underscored my belief that hurricanes acreage is potentially gold dust. I've been here since 2014 so just another 6 to 12 months to wait for payday, which will tie in perfectly with my retirement.
Can the big boys wait that long though! ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

Just to get back on a 'level' keel and on topic, some very astute recent and past posts from hello31 on the other board.
