Ignoring my own advice I just bought 30,000 at 37p, at a cost of a little over £11,111.

I tried to buy another 12,000 at 36p, but the sp is currently 40p and rising.

Mr Market definitely over reacted, as he always does. But I still fear the dead cat bounce.

I am holding for the long run. But neither am I buying for now. Because I fear the ‘dead cat bounce’. I will review on Monday, when dust may have settled.

The downward drift is undoubtedly heavily influenced by Mr Market’s negative response to HL’s results. But it’s a case of comparing apples and pears.

I decided not to put money in because the market capitalisation is so tiny. This exaggerates movements in sp, and the spread is 5%.

Today’s NYT has a prominent front page article about hydrogen power. Much of it concerns ITM, including photographs. Extremely positive and valuable coverage. Priceless publicity.

I years ago stopped reasing Motley Fool. They hedge their bets so often, posting pro and anti articles within days of one another, as to make their advice useless.

I suppose the aim is to be able later to say ‘I told you so’, whatever the outcome. ‘Fool’ indeed.

Meanwhile, I am very encouraged by the recovery in ITM’s sp.

Obvious scam. The scammers are getting ever more ingenious. Greed is the invariable hook. “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is…..” You know the rest.
