Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This appeared on the AFC board this morning. It has more to do with VLS, and describes, in German, a consortium putting together a proposal for a Fischer Tropff green kerosene plant at Stade, where AFC used to have a trial fuel cell plant

Below is part of the translation from German; this is more VLS' field. AFC is not mentioned.
"If the six-month pre-engineering phase is promising, the plant could be built on the basis of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (hydrogenation of carbon monoxide) at Dow in Stade by about 2021/22. The hydrocarbons synthesized there are to be supplied as a basis for further production to the BP refinery in Lingen and processed there into green kerosene. The prerequisite for this, however, is that the two starting products of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, hydrogen and carbon monoxide, have already been produced using climate-neutral processes using wind or solar power. From Lingen, the fuel will then be delivered to the Airbus aircraft at Hamburg Airport. The remaining by-products of the kerosene production are to be refined into "green diesel"."
The Japan Times article below points, in my mind, to a dilemma of some magnitude. Setting up electric charging points up and down the country is a monumental outlay (even if we have the electricity to power them). I think IMHO etc,. that it will ultimately be better to go direct to hydrogen (or ammonia) as a source of power. I am reminded of the massive outlay between1760 and 1820 on canals in UK, and then Stephensons Rocket came along and spoiled the party big time.
BB2 and the Groke
It is essential that they get started on the ground before the nesting season in 2021, and i would be very concerned if PHE had not started by then. i was expecting progress this year after the nesting season, but something is holding up progress. I am vaguely anxious (with no evidnece) that all is not well at PHE. Having Yeo as chmn does not help settle my mind, either.
Take care, Outlaw, I think a retrace in the absence of hard news is likely - but not very far. But if you think this is worth > £1 within a year or so, you should buy now. Sorry to be ambivanlent and unhelpful!

Agreed. We will not see the outcome of this RNS on sales for at least 6 months.
