314, technically the jury is instructed to deal with the facts and the judge must decide the law. Factually the correct inventors weren't referenced, but as we know the law in patent cases shows this is not material. That's why CAP-XX are appealing - so the judge can decide if the law has been applied correctly or not.

A little background on the appeals process:

Appeals are decided by panels of three judges working together. The appellant presents legal arguments to the panel, in writing, in a document called a "brief." In the brief, the appellant tries to persuade the judges that the trial court made an error, and that its decision should be reversed. On the other hand, the party defending against the appeal, known as the "appellee," tries in its brief to show why the trial court decision was correct, or why any error made by the trial court was not significant enough to affect the outcome of the case.

How long do federal appeals take? Generally speaking, it can take anywhere between a few months and two years for the appeals court to render a decision. Based on current time frames and our own experience, it’s not unreasonable to expect the appeals process to last about a year or more.

I couldn't wait until morning, but there aren't many details. It just says :

"Notice is hereby given that Plaintiff CAP-XX, Ltd. hereby appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from the judgment entered on December 27, 2023 (D.I. 322)".

Boom! CPX appealing the verdict!

More trades not being reported today, there were also a couple unreported yesterday. According to Shares magazine there is an issue with the MorningStar feed preventing some trades from being fed through.

Directors settling for a low ball offer rather then the £5 they were banging on about a few years ago.

On google, there's a 10m sell at 14:48 and a 3.5m sell at 11:11, but neither of these trades are showing on any other platform. Any ideas?

Guillaume is located in Paris and will act as an independent rep serving the French, Italian, and Spanish markets.

That's a good find Newuncle. Great to see CAP-XX are expanding their workforce - that's INCREASING headcount not decreasing! ;-)

Also the clue there is 'exciting, fast growing business'.

Not only that, but Lars Stegmann has taken CPX to so many new markets in only 6 months, so indeed CAP-XX is known about worldwide now, more so than before. AK must surely be slightly ashamed at the rate of gears Lars is moving through compared to his sluggish 20 years in charge.

Has the seller finally cleared? I flippin hope so. Let's see this back to a proper level.
