Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Guess is it will be at circa 3p, so at least anyone who bought at 6-9p can drastically reduce their average.
See you at 3p gents (and ladies)
Flava,
You can’t come over to the dark side, your ramps are my best source of wealth :D
It should be becoming obvious that “de-rampers” are actually just moderately intelligent people who can read that on the 28th March 2024, the company told the market they were advancing an equity raise.
Anyone who bought following that warning is a danger to their own wealth.
Realistically, this placing isn’t going to get done above 3p. Expect rampers to desperately try to push this over the next 1-2 hours, but they won’t want to hold for the weekend as that 7am placing rns could land anytime with a 50% gap down.
Popeye,
No more details on the fundraise yet, ceo said he’s discussing it further later in the presentation.
As soon as funding requirements mentioned, reality set in for those who can’t count.
Still more work to be done.
Then he says “funding raise discussions coming up shortly”
Get ready for the placing bombshell rampers.
You’ll never see rats fleeing a sinking ship quicker in your investing life when the ceo answers!
They said they need enough cash to run trials, and that it will be in the form of an equity raise, that to the chimps on this board is, you guessed it- A placing.
The fact the ‘bulls’ are trying to have posts removed tells you all you need to know about how fragile this rise is.
As always, I give a prediction, I think GDR will be between 4p and 5p by Wednesday close.
InvestorAce,
My favourite short indicator.
Currently sat soaking up some rays thanks to the RENX short, raising a beer to you here.
The inevitable pre-placing pump in full swing.
Last week within the interim results the ceo said:
“ At the current burn rate, the Company has a cash runway through May 2024.”
And
“ Our equity funding plans are being advanced and the intention will be to raise sufficient funding”
The same names appearing on the bulletin board are going to make this a stunning short. See you on the morning of the 3p raise chaps, and thanks again for such a stunning opportunity.
Potnak,
You sure showed them shorters, crikey they'll be livid that you're still squeezing them at this price.
Lazarus,
I respectfully disagree, I never once reported or requested a bullish post be removed. I said my piece, and read the other side. The tribal bulls simply couldn't tolerate hearing an opposing view.
Anyhow, we won't get into that again.
People are blaming the BOD for this demise, arguably yes, but the general environment is brutal. They could and should have raised by severe dilution when they had the chance, but I guess they thought they were being clever with the CLN.
The UK pharma market is on it's knees, it will take some miracle results to turn this, and other similar small cap companies around.
Lazarus,
I've not had a position here in yonks, I've got no aim of destroying anything.
The insults were fired my way long before I said anything in response. You're a prime example of an 'us against them', tribal mentality.
The sooner you stop seeing investing as a battle, and more of an opportunity to listen to both positive, and negative, you will be happier and wealthier.
Elcap,
Fair play.
Making objective posts, like I did at SAR, on a site like this doesn't often make you popular, in fact, you get turgid abuse.
I've been bearish on the general market for the last 12 months, because it is so hard for growing companies to capitalise themselves.
The one thing I stand by though, is nothing I have said has been factually incorrect, and on the numerous bulletin boards where I have taken absolute pelters, ultimately, it is played out with almost total accuracy each time.
Do you know what is the scary thing? LSE has removed 10's, maybe 100's of my posts on various bulletin boards following reports from 'bulls'. That activity only serves to create one sides placed of discussion, which is very, very dangerous.
SAR is an expensive lesson for many, but I was only so sure of the demise because I too have been on the end of expensive lessons once upon a time.
Wish you the best Elcap
Sharebel,
Nice of you to think of me.
I'm out (not so) good sir, my prediction was a placing rather than a takeover. My prediction came in, and I banked a splendid profit at tranches just under 29p. It will go closer to 20p, but opportunity cost is a factor.
That should be all of this years and next years holidays paid for, so I thank you for being the imbecile that you are, genuinely couldn't have done it without you (and those with likeminded views).
Good luck with your next adminstration.
Carter,
Fair point, except for the fact that many on here were happy being told that RF financing was fantastic and that an incoming £14 takeover was only a matter of time away.
The irony is that ‘bulls’ think ‘Shorters’ are just ‘de-rampers’, out to spread lies, what you actually find, is often the ‘Shorters’ often speak the most truth. It is the incessant bulls that serve only to create a fictional utopia of untold riches, whilst silencing any opposing views.
This bulletin board was very guilty of that.
It seems a long while since I was getting abused on this board for stating how precarious a RiverFort facility was and is.
For everyone that sent abhorrent abuse my way, maybe some time for reflection.
Moron of the Decade, Sharebel wrote just a couple of hours ago:
"oh and I made a fortune on NNN"
What happened to NNN, yes you guessed it folks, it went into administration.
Silverblade, fair, so you were referring to no primary bid or REX or such like. Agreed.
Silverblade,
You wrote:
"and is this why the placing share are only being offered to a select number of participants?"
Well it's being offered round all of the usual bucket shops that offer all of the bottom of the barrel placings, so you're incorrect to assume it's selective in any way shape or form.
You think a placing is to help the supposed offer. Yet is my view that the supposed offer was to help the placing. Keep the lights on for another few months, with another fundraise likely to come. The difference next time, their wont be as many naïve people who will believe the fluff.
Flava,
Humble as ever, fair play. I hope for your sake, a takeover could arrive, but I would say there is very, very little chance of that happening.
This was a classic move by the board of directors.
Sharebel lacks the intelligence to realise when he has been duped. He lacks the humbleness to admit he was wrong. He lacks the knowledge of when a mandatory offer is in play (his "minimum 1.55 offer highlights that".
It is currently NT to sell more than 1000 shares at 28p, so contrary to what Sharebel says about this 'being in the 30's', this looks to be going lower.
This will be 18-20p within a month, bulls will dispute this no doubt, much like they disputed my prediction of a fundraise.
