It means without any big 5000 + order being worked , short on shares to up the price, even the small odd trades were keeping the buy up @@.

Very interesting at this point in time and a Friday late too. A new level being created ?

Like the last few mornings the big trades / ISA movements are coming after end of day.

There must be a big trade or two being worked as the spread is now 40p - ave is 30p for weeks - AND the buys are now up to £2.90.

End of day I bet there are £30-50,000 of buys in being processed.

It's coming whatever it is.

BritishVolt being bought out is the catalyst it seems.

Today was interesting. Late declared trades.

8:10 approx £50k sell.
9:50 approx £45k buy , I'd guess an ISA transfer PLUS the seller took their 10% =£5k off the table.

10:40 approx those £5k were bought at a slightly higher sp.

Those totalled the large trades today. Tick.

It was partly suggested in a video. Unfortunately I'm not sure which social media interview it was.
Sometime in the last 6 months , say 4-6 months to narrow it down. May have been Proactive Investor video ?

Patience is NOT an inaction it is an action we chose to take.

We are all actively backing ALK TVL by holding firm and not selling, making shares available short in supply. The more they want the less there are. Simple.

Good question VIS as we know money and BIG money to be made. Greed is never far away. You scratch my back....

Now that is NOT to say shareholders will not be quids in, but it could look on the surface choppy at times as parties jostle for holdings.

ALK are also actively looking at a plant in Europe too and it would not surprise me if a plant in either the US or S America was muted ! US/Canada most def the fav due to grants and the shear tonnage to come of lithium from 2026/27. Monster amounts that the US & Canada will need.

We will see? If there is SO much value in ALK / TVL then money goes to money. Its just the banking world , even if its an amount from a ATF fund I'm sure the investors of Optivar and 2 other trading platforms will want something from not only their investments in BritishVolt but also the supply of the lithium hydroxide they are buying from Tees Valley Lithium ?

Question Wiseinvestor , How is Port Hedland being funded ? Australian Infrastructure grants ? Any possible kick backs to the large mines ( hopefully ) supplying the spodumene feedstock ?

Seen many of my "golden" shares get turned in to shaite once greed gets involved. Billions up for grabs here and the dirt balls that feed off these situations do have a habit of getting their ways.

Fingers crossed ALK / TVL cross the river unscathed to bloom in to a top UK company.

News then on offtake in AUSTRALIA and £5+ but i am not saying that will be it. Thats a pure guestimate of the figures I have already posted regarding spodumene supply / processing in Austrailia and the planned and being built capacity increases.

Europe has 12+ built battery factories and will go up to 33+ by 2025/26. These mostly will be built. Even if just 20 are the lithium supply is simply not there for EU feed.

3 groups imho all with Optivar prior to their joint fund raise + JV partner on lithium feedstock offtake is my guess ?

2 x 30,000tons @1.0% ave grade = approx 600 tons from 60,000tons of raw feed PLUS EXTRACTION COST & SHIPPING from Africa to China ??? HAHAHA.

ALK looking to get to get to Tees Valley Lithium Plant more like 40,000-45,000 tons after part processing in Australia @ Port Hedland for the same tonnage.
Yes there are still mine stripping, transport and part processing costs BUT the shipping will be 70% approx more efficient.

Scale that up to 200,000-400,000tpa and the tonnage Tees Valley will get and the scaled up savings on shipping = ££££

No brainer.

This crossed my mind with the type of new owners of BritishVolt and how they may expand to totally secure lithium supply above the EU.
Again these owners are Australian.

Just a thought from last week but brought to mind with this article. Things are moving so fast !

Everyone who wants lithium supply be it Asian or Western entities is in contact with African supply.

“These are really unique times we are living in, with this whole transition to a clean energy future and Ghana could be part of this story,” Len Kolff, interim chief executive officer at Atlantic Lithium, said.

The company’s Ewoyaa mine project is set to be the first lithium producer in the West African country. U.S. firm Piedmont Lithium has signed a deal to get 50% of the lithium produced.

“Everybody’s approaching us, like the whole who’s who on the Chinese list and now it’s all the Western OEMs [original equipment manufacturers],” Kolff said.

Not my words. CEO of Africas Atlantic Lithium who already have an offtake deal with USA Piedmont.
Their grade spodumene rock is so good it doesnt even need a flotation process.

VW , Merc , Tesla and Stellantis will be throwing cash around. VW wanted to back in 2018 !!! FACT.
Knowing this has just needed patience.
ALL the 30+ gigfactories are set up to use mass produced lithium in some form - FACT. 33+ GIGAFACTORIES

But unless you are utterly bearish on the war, at some point there will come a time when Europe’s few and precious lithium suppliers actually start to produce. And at that moment, the local customers, the likes of Volkswagen, Seat, Mercedes et al, will be clamouring for product and throwing cash around hand over fist.
