milestone achieved. Great progression in terms of ounces of gold produced: 570ozs October, 646ozs November and 872ozs December. We should now be over 1000 which is great. The market will now re-rate this share

production in Q4 is disappointing at 12k oz but it looks like they are confident that 2022 will have much higher production albeit mostly in the second half of the year. Not great but the worst is over and we should also expect some encouraging results from WK. If POG does not go south we should end the year at a much higher SP than now

the appointment of Andrew Scott is quite unusual. Surely we should be able to get more exposure given his expertise and connections

nice and sleek presentation but still very vague statements when it comes to production and dates. I am heavily invested but I'd be more comfortable when I know how much gold we are actually producing and selling to the market. So far no reason to doubt on the information provided but clearly the market is waiting to get some hard numbers before taking position here.
Q4 figures next week perhaps?

great to see these mentions in the press. All we need now is a widespread conviction that there is going to be an auction to control SOLG and investors will FOMO. This could also push BHP to accelerate their move

@easyp it's the standard way of communicating when grades are lower than one gram per tonne.
It's disappointing that we have not found high grades but what's positive is that we found decent amounts of gold at all the targets. They have the potential to hide much higher grades below the surface. This drilling was aimed only at planning deeper RC drilling.

hi AG1989, good point. I think that the market needs to see a few more operational updates showing a trend of increasing production. So far we have a lot of very upbeat tweets and interviews but no actual production figures. They sold a bit more than 500 ounces in september if I remember correctly and promised to ramp up production to 1000 by the end of the year. Once they can demonstrate that they have actually met the target and sold the stuff the market will re-rate the company. I am very bullish and have topped up earlier this week but I am a bit nervous about the silence on this front.

this share has a few large investors and very little volume being exchanged. It's quite normal that it drops even by 10% like yesterday if there are a few sellers. But eventually the market will align with the true value of the company and when it does move it can do it very fast. Today is a great example. We can easily is a 50% in a week if the sentiment changes. I topped up yesterday and on monday

shocking really. You have an incredibly important AGM, a languishing SP and you issue a presentation which looks 99% like the ones we have seen over the last couple of years. Almost like if you wanted to get the company being taken over on the cheap. Is this what they want? I voted against the confirmation of the BoD and only in favour of the new CEO but I am already annoyed with him..

Now, unless something fishy is brewing (covid killing everybody, production halted, government seizing assets), the current SP is just silly. I am pretty sure it will soon bounce back so I have just topped up and now own a sizeable holding.
The management could do with an operational update and restore some confidence in the markets. We need to know how much gold we are producing and how much revenue we are generating. Monthly figures that show a progressive increase in ounces produced would certainly have a great benefit on the SP. I've done my bit today, please Team do yours now..

looks like I am not the only one pleased not to see an RNS this morning! this gave me the change of topping up at a bargain price. The webinar the other night was super bullish. The team is delivering, they have substantial skin in the game, we are producing increasing amounts of gold, we are drilling to increase our resource base, asset acquisition will come soon and without dilution. What more can we ask from a company that listed only a few months ago?
Please post that RNS now and let the market know this little gem of a company

johnlewis, he bought quite a sizeable amount. It's not just a token purchase to keep investors happy, he's feathering his nest. He's probably confident about the future of the company, whether it's about Bhukia or W Africa. I am topping up too on monday

the grades today are quite solid so I am quite comfortable. The SP is likely to have bottomed out and more drilling at WK should gives us a nice push. All we need is for POG to stay above 1800-1850 for a while and the SP will take care of itself. Just a bit worried about the declining grades and production and NLGM but hopefully the other news, including VAT refunds, should compensate for that..

I topped up this morning. Fully loaded and ready for the fireworks to begin. Pretty sure that between now and the AGM we will see some eagerly awaited news. 1-2 RNS per week would do. Then the auction will begin. Whether it takes 3 weeks, 3 months or a year, I don't care, I am sure I'll close my position with a multiple of my investment

I don't get it. There's no reason in the world why this should be going lower and lower. We are producing, making money, paying dividends, expanding our resources, drilling in Kenya and Tanzania, hopefully getting more VAT payments back..
