looks like Nicholas J Grace, an investment fund manager, has just bought 12 million shares, 1% of the company. Either he's heard some whispers or he believes that this is a solid bet regardless of any current takeover deal that may be on the table..

I hold a large position in SHG and I do not intend to sell now but this situation really stinks. I haven't forgotten what happened when Erin and Luke sold a good chunk a while ago..

patience is key. We knew that the last round of drilling was purely to identify potential targets and now we have them. The next step will lead us to book some ounces. That should spark some interest.
Anyway, plenty of announcements to come in Q4 and, who knows, we may even hear something about Bhukia..

Looks like Mark is in India so hopefully there's some negotiation ongoing behind the scenes.

my lousy TA skills tell me that we could be going as low as 22p but that we should bounce nicely from there. Time to top up, take some time off from the markets and check again in september. At least that's what I am doing.

amazing grades. Some are quite deep but the story unfolding is that of a licence with extremely high average grades. This is a multi-million ounces licence that is going to transform the company. I think we have turned a corner and the SP should be recovering from here. We are producing from the high grade pillar now and from Q1 next year (6-8 months from now) Singida will come online. If POG goes back over 2k this will fly. Time to fill your boots and wait

great news about Q2 production, AISC, financial position.
VAT settlement could be positive but it means that we are going to get only a fraction of what we are entitled to.
Also not happy about the postponement of Singida production. They keep saying that it's on schedule but it used to be dec 22 then jan 23 and now March. Not a big deal though.
All in all I think the worst is over, we just need to see the POG bouncing back towards 2K

agree, it makes our financial position more solid and reduces the chances of dilution. However, the market is firmly in risk-off mode right now so small explorers in Africa are not much in fashion. But if you do have patience it's a good time to accumulate as the SP is incredibly low. Once we get some positive news from Labola and, finger crossed, from India, this could fly in an instant. We just need patience.

There's great upside and very limited risk at this stage. Maybe we haven't bottomed out yet but it's very likely that the SP will be much higher than it is now in by the end of the year

Labola could be a game changer as we drilling in the current resource area (Daramandougou) and in 5 promising targets outside that area that have been identified by a geophysics campaign and that host artisanal miners . The first area could take us above the 1 M oz threshold and the second hopefully shows other potential opportunities for future drilling and more ounces. Q3 is just round the corner..

Finally, it's all quiet on the indian side but I am sure there's a lot going on behind the scenes. At some point we'll get an update and, if it's positive, it will put a rocket under the SP

Bassala drilling will hopefully confirm the high value of a couple of structures identified by previous campaigns. Nothing is certain here but the signs are encouraging and Bassala seems not to be priced into this share at all.
Once we get news out from here and Labola the SP can recover pretty quickly, as we've seen before. There's just not enough interest and volume is very low. Seems like a trend across all junior miners. Let's hope the team gets some more interviews and sparks some interest, especially on the Labola side.
Let's not forget also that there's a lot of work going on behind the scenes in India and news could land at any time. Fingers crossed!

grades are no amazing as what's reported is data from 8 samples out of nearly 1000, however, it does confirm that we have scope to increase the resources and I like the fact that the orebody is open at depth. We can probably extend a fair bit the lifespan of the mine combining traditional mining with HL depending on the grade.
Glad that the team continues to deliver as promised.
