So the two possible outcomes here are 1. Mini boom purely as we live to fight another day, and nigel factor. But no big deal announced (which is big boom time). 2. Starting on a one way path to oblivion, with massive dilution to get through.

The difference being, this wouldn't essentially stay the same company, it would have to rto. Which means you wouldn't need to wait a year for (e.g) a 17 bagger. Possibly more like months or weeks.

Basically there are two massive bits of *industry* news this year, the biggest for a couple of years actually I'd say. The US betting opening up and the UK legislation. All gambling shares are all in the same industry, therefore the knock on effect will obviously be felt by everyone in the industry,

I'd say it's actually both highly relevant here, and also a surprise. The firms most likely to consolidate their US license position are UK based firms. All of the big players are taking a massive hit now and for the foreseeable future. This is worst case scenario played out (�2 FOBT). Taking a massive hit means they will be less likely to be wanting to splash out snapping up WEB, ergo the licenses here are worth less (in the short term) as of today.

Never a more apt name. Or Watch and Wait. Time will tell.

I said all traded shares. ;) The likes of William hill, Ladbrookes, 888. Etc Bear in mind that this absolute worst case scenario.

Also, bear in mind the imminent ruling on gambling by the UK gov (expected this week) which could knock £1bn off the share price of all traded gambling shares. I believe webis focus more on b2b than b2c, but any potential buy out discussion just bear this in mind if they are UK based.

Put simply, the licences are the only true things of value in webis, as they are not making any real margin on the other stuff atm. If the next rns is about monetising their licenses then mega boom time. If it's about ongoing operations or developments that way then it will add very little to the mcap.

Exactly my point. I certainly hope this share eventually benefits from this legal change. But a £5k profit 2016 and small loss in 2017 on hundreds of millions turnover, I think peeps need to look at fundamentals on this one as it's certainly not a typical aim share at all. Anyways, I've made my money on this, not looking to re-enter and happy for anyone who has made something here after such a long wait.

Oh it certainly is huge news, definitely. But if you're looking for a mid term hold I'd wait until UK gov ruling later this week and see the fallout from that.

That's what I mean. Fundamentally exactly nothing has actually changed since last week, when they are barely scraping a profit. The only thing that has is their prospects.

Any thoughts why this was consistently valued, for a long time, the way it was?

I would say, having been in and out of here a few times, that I'm still totally bemused by their incredibly high costs of sale, to arrive at a tiny revenue off that turnover. Never seen anything like it. If I knew the answer to that I'd be up for buying more.

Indeed, they really shouldn't own a fleet, a company this size. Imo. Just a decent lease hire agreement for large contract jobs and regular delivery service for other stuff.
