Well I have scoured the relevant legislation today I cannot see anywhere any transgression at all regarding ballot irregularities. scamp on point1 how does a sealed envelope being handed over to the named recipient constitute a breach? I am puzzled its still secret.

On point 2 that would be an internal RM matter not a legal one. At no point has secrecy been sacrificed whether the manager agreed or not

@ scamp on what point of law exactly? Firstly postal workers are allowed to take their mail with permission that wouldnt invalidate a ballot. Secondly any form of coercion is difficult to prove without real evidence that a worker was forced into doing so against his will.

So RM want take the CWU to court for a ballot which they claim is illegal. They also wanted to e tend the timescale for the same illegal ballot if the CWU agreed to delay strike action. You couldnt make this up as for the ballot being illegal well time will tell but it is s very weak argument legally

I am aware that mediation is over. The mediators report was only produced last week and the CWU offered to talk through this report with RM they wanted preconditions on what exactly was to be discussed absolutely not acceptable

So they wouldn't meet with the CWU last week to discuss the mediators Report because it was half term. Half Term!! Really!! they also a measly 4 hours of talks this week with preconditions in as much as they did not want to discuss certain aspects of the mediators report, and that was never going to happen. When the GE was announced literally minutes after the announcement Rico and Stewart Simpson send an email to Terry. Stating that in the interest of democracy we should call the strike off until the new year. Get stuffed never going to happen. And by God are we going to hit them hard. Time to get either get Rico in the room or get rid of him the blokes a liability and an utter disgrace.
