I would also ask what the government plans are likely to be should any variants circumnavigate the vaccine knowing that the deadliest variants won't be picked up by mainstream LFTs knowing that should stocks no longer be available they have annoyed the supplier of such tests.
I am not sure how you go about it sorry but for me the top 2 questions are obvious. Why do you not release information that would not have a negative impact on any contracts or are subject to an NDA via RNS and are there plans for release from Euronext and primary listing in uk and sub listing in us? There is no positive to having European headquarters, they see us as British anyway.
Locked, you would have thought so. Sorry to mention it, and it's not a slight on the company, but Genedrive goes up 20% on the authority to sell to India. We are selling to the world. There are so many positives about the company. We shouldn't be the 1s to shout about it on a BB. It should come from management, time to get just a little corporate. I say this knowing that they scan these boards, please just do what you do but consider us. In some big transaction in the future you may just need us if your ambition is as big as I think.
Yep, hence the market frustration. It does seem to have been released. It was RNSd that it will be released. Twitter seemed to confirm it was released. This company needs to use the official lines of communication. RNS the release of the product. In the same way as they announced a plan for initial 1 million antigen tests a week. Do it through RNS like any other company would. I genuinely believe it to be true, twitter is not a communication to serious investors.
Lol. I think maybe you were on a night out when you posted. You said you were going to buy another 200 shares in Novacyt if Norwich were confirmed winners of the league by winning today. I don't care if you buy the shares in Novacyt, just giving support to a fellow Novacyt supporter. By the way, the stock market is closed on Monday anyway. :)
Well, if the government wants to safeguard themselves against future contracts being considered for financial wrongdoing then here's a thought. Why don't you renew and use the only tests available for all known variants to a company that advises world governments ready for when the airline industry opens up? You shouldn't have to tell the government select committee why you bought them, only why you went for the cheaper option.
Well, definitely games being played. The positive outlook of the company hasn't changed. If the shorter went long aswell then sold the shares in the long position so that the short isn't so expensive to close maybe? Other than that no idea.
Definitely a strange day. The joker in the pack hopefully has been removed, the players play on. Hopefully things will be a lot calmer and more civilised again, what a difference a few hours make. Back to healthy discussion, and day dreaming. Well, today has kept me grounded. This player is playing the long game. Short term investments rarely play out.
Whatever happens, I have confidence enough in this company that I DON'T want it to be taken over. This investment excites me like no other I have invested into before. Some have a problem that it is effectively run by a bunch of scientists. For me this is the biggest reason to be invested. Having a Financial Times and Saville Row suit doesn't make you understand the business that you run any better. I go as far as to say it does exactly the opposite. As they grow we will need to get more corporate, but I want the scientists to always have a say in the business.
Agreed Lockedandloaded. I have a vested interest also, but a tie up definitely better than a merger. I have a particular takeover target in mind which ticks all the boxes. Hoping to buy back in there soon, sold to add to my Novacyt holdings tho.
Lockedandloaded, if we were looking for big takeovers ODX would definitely be too big a fish for my liking. Also, would like the target to have more post covid potential with products in the pipeline that can benefit from a cash rich company. I would like any target for us to be in the £20 to £100m price range. That gives funds that we can still invest into the growth of the companies.
BE WARNED, THIS IS A RAMP. Just a reminder of the antigen test to be released. Target is INITIALLY 1m per week. If this is the initial target then can only imagine the ultimate goal. This sounds like a company maker in itself. There are many other diagnostic companies that would like this alone, let alone the myriad of other products we have and that are in development. :)
Greggs, yes you can and in my view you will
That's why I am invested here aswell as Novacyt. I can see it as being a good collaboration. Get ready for the flack....
Naewise. That may be the case, but there's every chance that there will be a queue of people to take the shares up if previous experience is anything to go by.
