Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The company has zero debt and produces. Most AIM oil and gas companies have debt and many don't even produce.
Many O&G companies would love a relationship with the big players in their operating country ( AST has two) So catastrophising is naive in this exchange. It was pointed put that this share has been walked down those with better analysis than me have pointed it out. Just a run of the mill cement squeeze and compressor would have some on aim jumping like jack in the boxes.
Getting this email re IPPC gave me confidence along with IPPC and speaking to civil servants
"the decision is in the final stage of substantive harmonization and legal review. "
Best of luck never read any other posts you made.

So basically as it is not in the process of codification or integration it is harmonizing and supports the notion we are not expecting delays. Colin has a law degree by the way and charted status in accounts, so his skill set is very relevant at this stage.
But to answer your question for full thumbs up like an exam question, they are putting the permit between all the other relevant legislation that exists, in a similar way to a line of best fit on graph. If they go beyond that a new law would need to be passed and therefore codification would begin. Maybe that is why Colin is a lawyer?

"The concept of integrating pollution control systems can
also be defended by reference to the reduction of administrative
costs which will probably result.
51 A separate
licensing procedure for every possible emission from a large
plant obviously leads to high costs, for both the industry
and the bureaucracies involved. It is therefore to be expected
that industry would welcome an integrated approach. This
has the advantage that industry has to address itself to a
single authority, instead of having to apply for three or more
licences, before it can start up its activities. The original
proposal for the directive also aimed at a streamlined
decision-making process: in principle decisions with respect
to a permit had to be taken within 6 months.52 This deadline
was unfortunately dropped in the final text of the Directive"
Hopefully it is the green light in one package.
