London, thanks for the detailed reminder of what our understanding is in terms of the progress being made with the electrolyte plant. The point I began making earlier today was simply to calm any worries people have about the perception that the price of V is starting to stabilise or retrace downwards. I was simply stating the fact that there will come a time when our reliance on the price of V will be replaced by sales of electrolyte, which if ramped up to 800mwh per year will account for circa 4400MtV and which by anyone’s standards is not insignificant.

OK, but aren’t I correct in thinking that the electrolyte plant is being constructed so that it can be easily ramped up to 800 mwh ?

Once we start manufacturing electrolyte it won’t matter what the price of vanadium is, we won’t be selling V we will be selling electrolyte.

What I get from this interview is that Largo have just copied what BMN has had planned for years now. Matthew must be bored silly listening to the explanation of how leasing will open up the battery industry, and the tortuous explanation of how vanadium batteries will benefit the world must be taking him back to interviews held years ago with with Fortune and Mikhail.

Nice to be reminded what a great company BMN is though.

PP, I don’t think it works like that. Remember currently BMN doesn’t start to make a profit until the price of V is above $37 per kilo.

It’s been a long time since Capa graced us with his presence. I take that as a good sign. There’s a strong whiff of desperation.

I think the 16.58 RNS answers this question. Duferco sold all its previous holding.

I wonder if it’s too late for me to reverse those buys I made in 2019 when the SP was in the range of 30-49p, lol.

OK how’s this for size? Duferco might have shorted BMN, driving the share price down, knowing full well that they will be given some more shares in 2021, thus closing the short and at the same time getting those new shares at a favourable price.

That works out at $22 per kilo V2O5 or almost exactly $10 per lb. That’s a good price isn’t it?
