It was always going to arrive at this point. West going into the middle east seemingly doing what they wanted, but, anyone else makes a move and sanctions and other threats are thrown out left, right and centre. What you're left with is two sides which have zero respect for one another. The biggest problem for all of us normal folk is that both sides have crazy amounts of weaponry in this day and age.

China is the bad man, North Korea is the ban man, Russia is the bad man etc etc. It ultimately leaves a situation where the 'bad men' have to stick together . . . . this is where we are now unfortunately at.

History is littered with conflicts over territory, Vietnam, Falklands, Northern Island troubles (would have been a similar conflict if they had been able to arm themselves).

What's alarming is that when you believed it may have started to end, another begun.

Certainly EthioEthio. I'm hoping the ceasefire happens very soon along with the relevant talks. What a rough week it has been, but, we're very lucky compared to all of those innocent people stuck in the middle of it all.

It needs to happen for them, our SP movement is trivial in comparison to what's happened over there.

Ceasefire would be fantastic under the circumstances. I don't think anyone can deny that. Stop the carnage, get the non-aligned status for Ukraine in place. With that status Ukraine can neither be a threat to Nato, Russia or anyone else in the area.

I truly hope this brings peace and stability to that area of the World.

Not one mention of anything like this until i brought it here, just like many other theories i have brought over the years.

Expanding back into previous owned areas is also one of mine, easily created by looking into historical RNS and sitting and watching them expand back at WK for some years. WK was and will always be the blueprint of what was going to happen at Monchegorsk, and yes, as mentioned in RNS late 2019, the potential of going back to Volchetundra and the same blueprint being used there.

An example of a Chinese manufacturing arm, strangely enough they make batteries, they are the ones who are going to supply the Nissan plant in Sunderland. Scroll down to the map to see the highlighted geographical battery production areas -

That's just one example, most know how China has hundreds of companies who all require the battery metals that are contained at Monchegorsk.

People always had to try and outbid the Chinese, i don't think they managed imho.

Rumour is, that in these type of situations China bid way over the top to secure what they need, they make their profit on the manufacturing side of products in house in China. They've been securing assets for years in that manner, out bidding all others fair and square.

My money is on them being the highest bidder here, Sinosteel will construct and a mutually beneficial relationship will be made with NN. This is just my opinion however, we'll see exactly what's happened when the deal details finally arrive for us to look at.

You have to learn to stay calm in volatile situations Finarlies. Never get emotional, stocks move in both directions all of the time, not one stock moves in a straight line, they all go up and down. Some just go up and down more than others do.

With Eurasia you learn to know what the BOD will do, that they will make moves to protect the company and its shareholders as they're also shareholders. Dmitry, a highly skilled investment banker is the largest shareholder here. He has the full weight of himself and all of his contacts in anything he goes into, a very well connected and respected man from what i've learned over the years of being here.

UBS and Citic Merchant are here on a 'success fee' basis, they will also do absolutely everything to ensure any asset sale ends successfully. It's what they do as a day job as professionals and it's how they get paid!

"not keep any Western weaponry on its territory" - That's the main part right there, Russia does not want any weapons near its border that could be used against them. Even more in striking range of Moscow, this invasion is showing the World exactly what they're prepared to do to stop that situation from happening.
