Well, that didn't move the dial much! Given we are now confirmed as just 4 months away from production, and cash will flow very quickly from then at 20% above the projected rate (feasibility gold price @$1k oz), I expected this to start a recovery pretty quickly. Guess we'll have to wait a little longer!

Fingers crossed ColdBuffet! Definitely gone too far down and worthy of a return to the £3.xx area in my view! The explanation for the increased R&D will be interesting at the end of March - and will hopefully be setting the business up for further growth. I've held my initial stock for over 12 years (though averaged down over the years) and still very confident of the long term on this one.

I suspect because the big sells were early and taken up quickly, and there now seems to be higher buying activity, albeit with small quantities. Hopefully it will continue and drift back up, pending some positive news at the results. Fingers crossed!

Very disappointing reaction to the update, but I am wondering if the increase in R&D planned for this year might be the resurrection of plans to get Flutiform launched in the US, the largest market and one that was initially the jewel in the crown that was about to happed - when the rules changed. At the time, SKP did not have funds to do the further development required for approval, but that's all changed now. Could be really transformational if that happens...let's see at the end of March. Would take a couple of years to complete, but would make all the difference?

Hi MisterBooth - I think the numbers are better than you have read? They had net debt of £2.9m in June, and now net cash of £15.1m - an upswing of £18m in the last 6 months which is a much better position surely?

Hi Coathanger. Still a bit of action today, so hopefully on the up and up. I initially got in during the heady days of 2007 at 38p, but have now averaged down to 7p. I am really bullish on this one and you are right Ianous, the ducks are lining up on this one, based on all the background detail. All the pain has gone, and once financing (a little overdue based on their projected timelines) is in place, this could really fly as production gets nearer and nearer.

Yes, Coathanger, good to see a bit of action here today. Actually a chunk was me topping up, though clearly a number of other buyers dipping in too. As soon as the financing is confirmed - which surely should be any day now - then we will start to see a nice, steady and consistent rise through to commencement of full mining toward the end of the year. That is, unless there is a problem with the financing, in which case, this will drop like a stone! Let's hope not! Good luck all with this one.

Another very encouraging day! I was half expecting some softness today with people cashing in on profits from the new shares today - but still strong buying pressure. Let's hope it carries on for a while yet - I still need a bit more to break even having held my initial purchase for 12 years - and a that portion an effective £27 purchase price pre all the splits etc! Fingers crossed for us all.

I'm really bullish on this and agree, there's a long way north yet. I first got in in 2007 in the heady days, have averaged down to 8p and still in for more next week if I can. I suspect this will now drift slowly upwards through the year, with a blip up when the financing is confirmed and then again when operations commence. Though yes, Coathanger, a boom up if additional resources are confirmed, of which there is every possibility. Fingers crossed and good luck.

Today's results don't look too promising for shareholders, sadly! I had been hoping for some good news, or even a hint, but looks like the convertable bonds will need to be renegotiated this year, and this may involve 'substantial dilusion to shareholders' - not again, please!! I have ben a long term holder so my average price is over 4Pounds and have a substantial holding. Fingers they can pull a rabbit out of the hat, but still plenty of pain to come I fear!
